Well he made a lot of mistakes so its safe to say he has learned. Unsure if thats a sound way of developping a player
Come on he is such a big part of why MTL is winning right now… when you field two useless players with 0 IQ on line 2 and win, one of them has to be a lucky charm. I would not take the risk.

Bruh,
I'm thinking more.. he may need a year+ in the AHL to actually, you know... develop.
He had 10 points in his last two seasons. This season he has 1 point in 8 games, at this rate he could finish the year with 10 points again. Maybe he is a 10 points player.

The guy is clearly not ready, and pairing him with our 2 best players is only gonna highlight that even more.

Rough game tonight for Slaf, however his whole line looked pretty bad, newhook needs to be put to the wing.
First real bad game... There will be others.
Really hope when Dvo comes back, Anderson gets stappled to his side and Slaf & Newhook play with Monahan.

5% of our posters wanted to draft him. I had him 5th on draftday on my list. He is not a 1st OV material. He never showed offensive abilities. He should be a powerforward. But he is scared of traffic and to bodycheck. Yes he is a kid, but not a finesse player. He needs to be send in europe/ahl for 2 years.

Send him down. Let him develop his O in the A. It helped Cole Caufield, it can help him. Let him realize "Hey, I'm good at this goal scoring thing" and bring it back to the big leagues.
