Martin Jones was solid in those playoffs. Khudobin was also pretty solid in his cup finals run playoffs.
But these are all goalies who had rather forgettable careers. Khudobin was in and out of the NHL until he was about 30 years old, and Martin Jones never had a competent season in the NHL after he was 28 years old, save for a season at the end when he was basically a third stringer.
My ranking had nothing to do with their play during their cup finals playoff years, but their overall careers in the league. It’s very easy to forget Martin Jones and Anton Khudobin were cup finals starting goalies because their careers were pretty unspectacular in comparison to almost every other cup finals starting goalie of the last 20 years. Not because they had poor playoff runs in those years.
