Also he had 11 pts in 10 games in the 19-20 playoffs, 14 pts in 11 games in late feb/early March that year so that’s equivalent

You refer to PLD as 11 games but JT as his entire career, so either you meant that was the entirety of PLDs “good” career or you’re intentionally being misleading.

You weren’t referring to each players season. You were using the 11 games this year to compare to 13 years of Tavares. I can tell because you said “for 13 years”. But you’re right. The fact that you said tavares whole career and I didn’t pick up that you meant this season is just amazing.
Like communicating with a wall. Each players current season was discussed, the point was then made that Tavares has produced like this over a full season for 13 years, PLD has never produced like this over a full season in his career.

As others have mentioned to your dismay, 11 good games out of pld doesn’t knock Tavares off his throne. Unfortunately you’re going to need more than that and a few random sample sizes. I’m not upset in the slightest. This poster asked me a question, which I answered, then they proceeded to continue trolling. I’m not fighting a good or bad fight. Again all I did was answer that posters question. For probably the 5th time. I have not said PLD is better than Tavares or “knocking him off his thrown”. I’ve even said I think Tavares would be on the first line on the jets. The only options are for C though and I’ve said why I don’t think he’d play top 6 C. But I’m not allowed to have that opinion according to a handful of leaf faithful because of how long Tavares has been in the NHL. You, and the others continually commenting to me are the ones throwing insults and jabs. Not me
Kind of hard to see many franchises putting him on the wing with his 59% FOW so far this season but with Drai and Mcdavid both being over 54% it doesnt seem unrealistic.
