Complete fluke of a play but that looked real awful for him. Looks like he was completely KO'd. His neck snapped really violently as well, I really hope there is no damage there. I think he was moving his hands which is a good sign.

Hopefully it is nothing too serious and he's able to make a full recovery.

Perry didn’t try and kick him in the head but he didn’t really try not to either..

Good on him for taking on someone tougher than him right after though

This is interesting when they talk about suspensions and talk about how the caused injury affects. Here Perry has a flying knee directly to Tavares head and Tavares is stretchered out. If we go with that "only resulting damage matters", Perry should be thrown out of NHL.

But everyone understands it was an accident, so obviously it can't work that way.​
