He was so good at the start of the season before his injury.. and he's been complete dog shit ever since then.
Complete dog shit who was pace for +20 goals ? Not bad for a dog shit. Hands down best player on ice tonight and the reason why the series is not done yet.

Show some respect. Yes, you too Kirk. This guy should never be on 4th line.

He was a different player at the start of the season, that's when he got a lot of his goals. Watch the games before talking. I like Armia too, he's a good puck possession player/has good hands but he's insanely inconsistent.

Having Armia on the 4th line balances the lineup.

Talking more nonsense doesn't really help your case.

Streakier than a pallet-load of bacon. When he's on, you see why he went in the first round, for sure.

I think he just doesn't have the hockey sense, or killer instinct, to consistently produce offense.

But he's got so many skills, that periodically they all come together. 1 nice goal, 1 more lucky one, and consistent puck protection tonight.

He has been nothing but unlucky throughout the playoffs. Could easily have couple goals and few assist more. He has created at least 4-5 class-A chances so far. The confidence-boost in last match is so welcome.

Typically, I corrected to puck possession.

If he can consistently produce like he did li ast night, I'll change my assessment of him.

But since his production is consistently inconsistent, I won't until he can prove the contrary.

Too inconsistent for my liking.

Would explore trade market.

He's a 6'4, 2.5M 3rd line guy. He's the kind of player we need on our 3rd line. I would actually keep him ahead of a guy like Tatar who is going to cost way too much for what he ultimately brings to this team.

You're not going to find a whole lot of 3rd liners on a contract like Armia who are as effective as he is.

You need a reality check. No one can consistently produce like he did last night.

Cost Per Goal
G/GP
TKA/60

Salary $2,6M

The inconsistent Armia

Yes I was talking about consistently producing in general and consistently playing like he did last night...:thumbu:

Look Armia is a very useful player. I hope he retires a Hab. Right now I'm in favor of keeping him in the top 9 - for now - while he's hot. For Friday's game I have Byron coming out of the top 9.

But if we were to be able to land a Hall or Hoffman, I'd have two of Armia, Lehkonen, and Byron on the "4th line", with the hot hand among the 3 being in the top 9. But really that would make our "4th line" a second 3rd line and our team that much stronger.

Armia is a big bodied 3rd line winger who costs 2.6M on the cap, who has the 2nd most goals in these playoffs and who's +5. i never understand where the hate for him is coming from, what kind of expectations there are, especially with so many other ****ty underperforming wingers on the team.

:dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Agreed. I'd like to see him shoot more. His shot is dangerous.

Yea he has a nice sling shot'ey release, it has power. He has really good hands too, he pressures well etc.

Skating is his biggest drawback tho, so you can't just put him on any line.

It was just funny when we didn't score in back to back games... Everyone sucked and should be traded! Armia is just a 4th line bumb

We need him at RW. I think his play making skills are not so great but his play with the puck and forcheck is solid! His shot has power and it's deceptive.

You're no better with your constant overrating of pretty much every Hab player in the roster. If everyone of our player was worth what you said we wouldn't have been 24th in the league this season.
You sure run your mouth a lot for a guy who said Byron was worth the same as JT Miller and that Kulak was a top-4 D last summer.

Not overrating. You don't understand me. More like calm, cool, and collected and looking at the context as to why they are struggling. But you have your opinion of me stapled in your head... keep going bud. In case you didn't notice, I'm too legit to quit and I fight exaggeration a lot! It's a focus of mine and I will continue to do so

Don't remember the Byron vs Miller conversation and yeah, I'm wrong at times. Willing to admit it. With Kulak, I clearly said his games down the stretch for 18/19 season was impressive and I wanted to see more. I said if (look up the word if) he can do that for a full season, we got a good one at LD. And Kulak is playing very well in this playoffs don't you think? It's a matter of consistency and him figuring it out. Lots of guys do from 25-30 and lots don't. You are trying to pin that down as me saying he was a top 4D for sure. FALSE but nice try though! Stop being disingenuous and twisting what I said. Do you got any more false twisted narratives you want to pin on me? How about Alzner? I was wrong about him too. You willing to say what you were wrong about or are you the type who thinks you are perfect?

You sensitive about me calling out some who said Armia being a 4th line player only? :sarcasm:.
