Literally the most optimistic comment I have seen about Vesey is that he may be able to hit his stride with Tavares and Marner and put up like 20+ goals and 40-50 points.

Tavares has had far less talented line mates do a whole lot more than that.

Well I hope he has something left in the tank, I’m not really excited about this move. That said, it’s not a core piece or big ticket, so the sky isn’t falling.

Yeah, it really depends if he's bringing what he did in 2018-19 (fantastic) or 2019-20 (meh).

If he can give us a Spezza-type impact we should be very excited. No downside though unless he's completely washed and Keefe still plays him in prominent roles.... not that I think that's what will happen though.

I doubt Dubas made this signing without a trade being lined up. Theres way too many bodies for the bottom 6.
