Are you familiar with math?
I am, but instead of being a passive aggressive jerk just explain your point so I can agree or disagree with it.

Shouldn’t it really solidify that the leafs recognise they need leadership in the room? This solidifies to me that Dubas has no vision.
Hahahaha! Well played. This move 100% closed our window shut, there's no coming back from 1x700k. We're probably gonna have to pay someone just to dump Mikheyev and Dermott now.
Instead of starting your post with calling people cheerleaders and following it up with an unintelligent comment, do some research?I am, but instead of being a passive aggressive jerk just explain your point so I can agree or disagree with it.
This signing speaks volumes to how badly Keefe and Dubas think our locker room, and specifically our younger players, need an outspoken veteran voice to call them out for lack of give a crap.
I agree. I think this is largely to help shift the team culture. It will ko longer be Mitch and Austin's team. They'll have some serious hockey leadership to answer to.
We'll see how this goes.......
And my hopes for intelligent posts fades further....
It only impacts if he's on the team. And it doesn't take away from anyone else. It's literally the cheapest you could possibly sign a player for.Jesus, I didn't know Thornton's contract had zero impact on the cap. My apologies.

Look, a fan that uses his brain. All these old guy signings remind me of the 2004 Leafs. So many big names. The big difference between that team and this team though is that the 2004 Leafs were a very old team overall and needed the old guys to be a big part of the team.
The 2021 Leafs main core is just hitting their primes and all these old guys are just there as role players coming in at basically the league minimum. I like it a lot. If it doesn't work out then you just cut them loose at that salary. There's absolutely no downside to this.
I can't believe I'm reading this.
Anyway, I hope Leaf Fans temper their expectations. So many think that Jimmy Vesey is on the verge of carrying this team on his back. Can you imagine what type of statue they are going to be carving for Joe.?!
