I wish Bergevin could sign him and find a way to trade Emelin.

Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Radulov
Hudler - Plekanec - Gallagher
Desharnais - Shaw - Andrighetto

Markov- Weber
Beaulieu - Petry
Barberio - Pateryn

I want to see him in Toronto or Chicago

Toronto because I feel like Hudler would provide us with a needed vet skilled, key word SKILLED, yes we have Vet forwards but guys like Greening, Laich they don't have skill, Michleak does but he gets hurt.

You add Hudler and all of a sudden you got a little more skill to spread around and take a little pressure off Mathews and Nylander Marner and let them play their games a little bit.

In Chicago he would just be another good piece in an absolutely stacked lineup they'd be damn near unstoppable.

i have the feeling that habs will grab him for a year and if not theyll prob try to clear space to sign him hes a guy i can see berg being intrested in

Considering he thought we were too soft, I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if he added Hudler.

Leafs, book it.

I think the next forward on the Leafs list would be Brandon Pirri to play the Arcobello role for the Marlies/Leafs. I don't think they should sign any forwards left over in FA to a deal where they would start in the NHL now that Vesey is off the board. I would rather the youth get a fair crack.

NJ is a good fit and would give them a pretty solid top 9...

Hall - Henrique - Hudler
Cammalleri - Zajac - Palmieri
Boucher- Zacha - DSP
With Bennett as well

Anaheim would be a good fit if he can fit in the cap. They need a couple depth scorers still.

Islanders, Canucks, Hawks also make sense.

Wouldn't mind him on the Habs

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Radulov-Plekanec-Hudler

looks decent to me

Toews needs a RW.

XXXXX - Toews - Hudler
Panarin - Anisimov - Kane
Desjardins - Kruger - Hossa
Panik - Rasmussen - XXXXX

Motte, Schmaltz, Hinostroza, Hartman, McNeill, Tootoo fight for the final spots.

Panarin - Toews - Hudler (Give Toews somes scoring help)
Schmaltz/Hino/Motte - Anisimov - Kane (Kane is a 1-man scoring machine and does well with lesser linemates)
Desjardins - Kruger - Hossa (Great shutdown line; frees up Toews to be more offensive)
Panik - Rasmussen - Tootoo/Hartman/McNeil (4th line grunts)

Hawks still have over 2 M in cap space so they don't have to make a move right now. They can always acquire a forward during the season.

Canucks are rumoured to be an option for him. Would welcome the addition, if anything as trade bait at the trade deadline. Would have a positive effect on the development of other players, notably pushing Baertschi down to 3rd line and most likely Virtanen to Utica. Doesn't hurt having another good leader and character surrounding the young guys.

NJ seems like a good fit. They like their old guys!

Our old guys? You do realize we're one of the youngest teams in the NHL right?

This is not the Devils under Lou anymore.

And btw, Hudler is only 32. That's hardly old. He has many good years left in him. I personally think it's mindboggling he hasn't been signed. He's was one of the top free agents and has been on of the best 5-on-5 players in the league the past few years.
