thats such bs. the devils are better then that rangers team by far. yeah they made mistakes. but the any ref who called this game should be stripped of all duties. this was a classic mid season game for the devils against the rangers. pretty hard to beat a team and the refs..... the devils have nothing to be sorry for after this one. the refs did an amazing job sucking the life out of the team. if i had a chance to talk to them id tell them to move on and stop complaining..... looking at hall..... this game is played in the mind as much as it is on the ice.

it wasnt a 5-2 game in my mind. so easy to send a young team spiraling out of control. good job refs in NYC..... hynes shouldve chucked a bench on the ice after severson was taken down and they scored. hall doesnt even touch a guy and its a hook. he shouldve kept his mouth shut but i can see why he was pissed. sevs goes crashing into the boards and everything is cool..... gg rags...... ill say it again. Hideous turnovers and breakdowns leading to glorious chances in close and in front was the issue.

whatever im pissed. maybe you guys are more rational then i am but i saw the refs dictate the game. just came to vent. they will get us back on a nothing game on a tuesday against a non division team and call it even. its how refs work if you play in jersey

It is a team we are going to fighting with for a playoff spot and only play 4 Times (only once after December).

You have to be able to recognize the landscape you are in and are likely to be in and be able to adjust from a normal plan based on situation. Certainly the Rangers in the same situation as us (back to back division games) and saw how this weekend could be pivotal. This why they played Lindqvist twice

Refresh my memory, how did Lundqvist look against Pittsburgh and and Ottawa in the playoffs the last two years? There's a reason why most teams don't start their goalie in both games of a back to back and it's not just because they're generally less effective in the second game.

As much promise as this group has and as exciting as they can be, for every game where they play well defensively, there's another one where they are an absolute train defensively. If they're going to make the playoffs with their inexperienced defensive corps, they're going to need Cory to do some heavy lifting this spring. He'll have a better chance of doing that if Hynes doesn't go to him on back to back days during the season, even when both opponents are in the division.

Then it’s fair to also say Kinkaid stunk it up tonight.

.893 save percentage and a 3.48 GAA. He’s approaching 2013 Hedberg levels.

First and fourth goals were at the very least stoppable. You can certainly say we played worse tonight than last night, but that’s 6 poor starts out of 8 for Kinkaid and his sixth in a row.

.893 is unacceptable. I’d like to know what goaltenders in the league have been worse this year, not including guys that have played 5 or fewer games. There can’t be many. Maybe Niemi, Reimer and a few other guys or whoever this bum is that they got in nets for Pittsburgh since Murray got injured.

Cory would have been blasted tonight if he were in for this one, despite the fact that he’s been astronomically better this year, even though I realize the bar is much higher for him. Cory has bad games and has played 21 games this year? While Kinkaid manages to look like death row Hedberg for 75% of his starts this year.

Really like the tone of Hynes presser. Team is losing the work ethic they had at the start of the season, there is no doubt about it. If he does not put his foot down now it can get really bad.

Tired Cory is probably better than what Kinkaid has been this year (which is awful).

I don’t think it changes the result of this game. Still it is the thought process of the decision. Even if Cory played and gave up 5 I would be more comfortable with the decision than tonight’s decision.

All I know, is that he needs to go with Cory on Thursday AND Friday, unless we win both Tuesday and Thursday. That's the only way I'll accept him in on Friday.

I keep thinking that just by freak accident, he's due for a good game, but it just hasn't come. Yeah, as well as he played tonight, he still allowed 2 clunkers.

i dont hate him at all but id like to see at least a mention of the officiating. hes just doing what hall shouldve done because hall didnt do it. kept his mouth shut. you want him to bash the refs after hall threw a tantrum? it doenst work that way. someone needs to have a conversation with hall.... i can see why the oil failed while he was there and why they were so eager to deal him. his personality is absolute s***
