This game should be stressed as one of the worst this season. It's easy for people to see that the Rangers aren't nearly as bad as the Panthers or Coyotes and overlook the fact of just how bad this game has been.

The Rangers don't outshoot teams like this, and definitely not when they have a lead like this. This is the worst we've played while trailing since that St. Louis game a month ago.

Zacha is one of the few forwards to show up tonight and be dangerous. No doubt he'll get benched.

Eh. You can't expect every game to be a top notch effort.

What I want to see is the Devils can consistently create offensive chances. They had enough chances to win this game even if it wasn't their best.

Rangers clearly game planned hard tonight though. They exposed a lot of areas the Devils are weak at.

Yes, they have given up a ton of chances. Which also speaks to the system and coaching as well. That is kind on my bigger picture point
