Neither is Koko, hope he is enjoying Russia.

Hayes needs to be waived, it saves half his salary sending him to Providence and maybe somebody picks him up. 0 for 22 and counting.

Anybody think Tyler Randell would go 22 games without a point? With 3rd line minutes and power play time no less.

Randell would probably have 3 or 4 goals in that same time-frame with the opportunities Hayes has been gifted.

I'm not trying to pile on Hayes, because I do believe the effort has been there, he just isn't producing, and he's getting passed on the depth chart by younger players. It might be best for him to move on at this point, because when you combine the lack of production with his supposed role (or lack of) in the Vesey recruitment, he's unlikely to ever get a fair shake, even if he was playing well.

Koko probably would of been scoreless like Jimmy. Kid showed nothing.

Randell on the other hand actually produced even with limited minutes.

Disagree on Koko. He did not get the same opportunity as Hayes. How anyone can judge his play with limited sparatic ice time is beyond me. Silly really.

Not to get off topic too much.

The issue with Koko is even with limited opportunity, he did nothing with it.

Didn't generate scoring chances, didn't make simple plays, didn't do anything to help defensively, was just there. I don't even care he didn't produce in his limited time, he wasn't contributing anything. Consistently a step behind the play at all times. You don't need a lot of minutes to judge that. If he had been making things happen in his limited time and the goals/points just weren't coming, then I could see your point.

Would he of grown out of it? Who knows. The fact he's in the KHL right now and not given a chance on ANY NHL teams roster is telling.

I'm surprised the Habs didn't want him. They seem to have a fetish for players who name starts with "ALEX".

Yup, this.

Using the excuse that Koko "wasn't given enough time to show anything" is ********. The guy should have shown more in his limited time.

As has been established, certain guys like Hayes and Caron (due to some sort of outside bias or circumstance) are given significantly more rope than other guys. Someone like Koko was given the shorter end of the rope, but he showed absolutely nothing. Someone like Randell is given a similar short rope, and shows A LOT more.

Is Hayes the worst Bruin ever? Apart from Nilan I can't think of anyone more embarrassing to have put on our sweater. Yuck.

All I can say is that I would be pleased if I never saw him skate another shift as a Bruin.

This thread makes Jimmy cry himself to sleep everynight. Luckily he has a poster of himself giving the thumbs up with the tagline "you're great" underneath that reinvigorates his heart every morning.

Totally agree.

The problem is, who do we call up? Peter Cehlarik? He's another left shot/RW like Heinen. I don't mind the team seeing what he's got for a spell, but I worry that like Heinen, he's not ready and better served on the farm right now. After Senyshyn, right handed right wingers seems to be an organizational weakness that I'm sure we'll see addressed at the draft.

This.

You might as well dump Hayes to Providence and promote Mueller/Cehlarik to play with Krejci or on the 3rd. All the other forwards down there only have 1 point so far this season. Anyone can go check the stats. Czarnik is in Boston EVERY OTHER FORWARD ON THE TEAM ONLY HAS 1 POINT! Debrusk is 6 gp 1 point -4. So for now its Cehlarik or Mueller I see no reason to wait on giving either a shot. Heinen and Hayes down IMO.

Vatrano will be back soon we're just looking for a guy to have a handful of good games and maybe notch a goal or two.

Its good Czarnik had a nice game tonight even outside of the goal. Looks better than Spooner and is ahead of Heinen right now even if he doesn't have the upside and isn't the higher end prospect.

Any other forward on Pvd would be preferable. Anyone

Pretty much this.

They can do whatever they want with Hayes, as long as he's not in the starting lineup.

I don't think Heinen is as "not ready" as some here. I just don't think he's ready for action consistently against Top 6 players, particularly when he's being paired with Krejci, who is clearly not 100%. I would try Cehlarik if they have to bring someone else up. I believe he can play the RW as well as the left side.
