Hayes is a 15 goal player at best. Problem is that in the this system, he's even worse. The 3rd line on this team is still putting up zero's

In most cases I would agree with you, but in Koko's case, the 90 minutes of NHL ice time he got was more than enough to say he wasn't an NHL talent. He was that bad, simply awful.

And you know what, the fact he's in the KHL right now pretty much proves my point.

I know a lot of people here hate rinaldo and despise the trade that brought him here but honestly at this point, bring him up, serve his suspension and put him in on that 4th line instead of hayes. rinaldo is quicker, tougher, meaner and can probably pot a goal or two. I'd even take rinaldo right now over riles nash.

He's not wrong, Hayes had some of the better chances against St Louis and some decent plays last night. That's not to say Hayes should be playing, but he isn't really near the top of Bruin's problems at the moment.

I was going to provide a Jimmy Hayes futility update, US Thanksgiving edition, but I'll piggy-back off yours.

34 consecutive NHL games now without a point.

57 consecutive shots on goal without a point

And get this one.

He hasn't been a +1 or better in ANY game this season, and hasn't been a +1 or better in 35 consecutive games now.

How is that even possible?

I know he has another year on his deal but at this point it's time to bite the bullet and waive him and let him play out his contract in providence as we know he's not getting claimed. Ronaldo as some suggested to fill in for the year or just started giving some kids a shot. Really can't be worse than continuing with Hayes

He doesn't make a ton of mistakes and that is why he plays on a Claude team. It's been Juliens MO for years. He rather you get no points than try to do something creative and cost a goal
