You gotta hand it to the Predators though, dump players, with out two very good players losing a excellent D man today and they have held their own the last while, but maybe it's time for them to go away.

Everyone can have a bad game... give me a break.
The only reason the Jets are in this race is because all the teams we are fighting with for the playoffs suck as much as the Jets do.
Calgary played in over 25 one goal games this season. If they had just a little more finish they would be so far ahead of the Jets we wouldn't even see them. Nashville quit playing for the playoffs a month ago. Yet both teams can still pass us.

Deserved the W. Jets pretty much dominated
Our Viking comes thru - 1 goal and 1 assist. Needs to be on Powerplay #1.
They were badly outplayed. They did well to hang around but the better team won.
That's ridiculous. If wins and losses were given proper weight this wouldn't even be a discussion.
Jets are 8 games above real 500 and the Flames are 7 below.

Right, but you weren't basing how much the Jets deserve to make the playoffs based on their season, you were basing it on this one game. That they won, and that they deserved to win.

That's what tends to happen at the bottom of the playoff race.
Their first goal was just the kind of luck that's gone against the Jets since they started playing better again.
Id bet if the Jets scored first they would have run away wth it
A win is win but this team is still in a slump and nowhere the top of their game. Still a few games left to get there I guess.

To quote Inigo Montoya from one of my favourite movies:
"I do not think it means what you think it means."
This was a good win today. On the road against a team they needed to beat. They are now on a stretch of games where they are in a good position to get some momentum going.
