The second best result. Now Nashville has to actually win three games against the Jets as opposed to just two. Jets need to win the final game at home and just win more than Nashville. I liked a lot of this afternoon's game. Pionk had another rough defensive outing.

Gutsy win, the boys didn't let this one go sideways and gutted out a win. We were the better team and deserved to win. Now hopefully Dallas can beat those Flames tonight.

Pp stunk ass again.

Helle was good when he had to be but wasn't tested much.

Norrissey was back today. Him and DeMelo were great.

Pionk and Dillon struggled but Pionk came up big in OT.

Schmidt and Snerg played well.

Ehlers/Scheifele/Nino: The line played ok but needed more of a killer instinct in the offensive end.

Conner/Wheeler/Dubois: This group struggled to get things going. Conner is really fighting it right now. Dubois got better as the game went on and was starting to attack the way he was earlier this year. Wheeler is what he is.

Bottom 6 all played well, created energy and zone time. Big gtg by Lowry.

Well f*** I am pretty sure everyone on these boards would have said you have to bench Pionk next game if the Jets lost...so he gets the GWG.

If it weren't for Pionk's breakdowns you could say that was a well played game.

Good change to switch Connor and Ehlers. Dubois got better as the game went on. Good leadership defensively from Lowry and Namestnikov. And a timely goal. Good 4th line shifts with Barron in there.

But Christ if Pionk has another game like the first 60 minutes, what do you do with him?

Take the 2 points, and keep taking points and the Jets will be hard to catch.

Whatever was/is ailing Dubois, he didn't let it bother him in overtime.

I was afraid frustration was going to turn into discouragement for the Jets. So long, with so many SOG and none going in has to get hard to ignore. Credit to the Jets that they kept going and kept shooting.

Winning IS better than losing.
