I'd put Gawanke tied with/right behind Chisholm and push everyone else down. Those two have been driving the Moose all year. Yes more than Samberg, but Samberg's game seems to be translating really well. Then I'd put Rashevsky 6 and push everyone else down again. Torgersson vs Berdin is difficult for 10, Torgersson has a higher floor and Berdin has a higher ceiling. Rather than continuing to write I'll just give my own list.

1. Heinola (if Perfetti isn't an option, which is weird considering Heinola has played more NHL games and is older)
2. Samberg (could be recency bias, but kid could be a Slavin type defender. Insanely effective in his own zone)
3. Chibrikov
4. Lucius (reminds me of young Scheifele. Doesn't do much to blow you away but somehow always seems to be in the right place at the right time and that's a great skill to have that usually translates)
5. Rashevsky/Gustafsson (Rashevsky higher ceiling, Gustafsson higher floor)
7. Chisholm/Gawanke (both deserve bumps with the years they are having. Both have NHL potential)
9. Kuzmin
10. Berdin (going to stick with him. I'm excited to watch Torgersson on the Moose though)

Still have Barron that I want to see of more before I place him. Eyssimont could be an ideal 4th liner that can move up the lineup if needed as well.

Tyrel Bauer's Seattle Thunderbirds have started the WHL playoffs with two convincing victories, 6-0 and 7-3. Bauer so far has no goals, or apples, but sits +4, with 4 PIM. His d-partner, Kevin Korchinski, who is draft eligible this year, has had a pretty good start, with 1 goal (PP) and 5 assists, +4, in 2 games.

Korchinski is a very interesting option around our pick. Top ~15 is really strong.

Just got out of the OS/Flint game. Kuzmin impressed. First time seeing him and he is definitely on the smaller side but still not tiny. He does protect the puck surprisingly well for his size and I found he had really great vision and patience with the puck in his end. He was on the ice for the first goal against but missed it as I was grabbing a beer and missed the replay so not sure what the breakdown was.
His play in his end is good given his size and playstyle. Good active stick and positioning. Did a decent job boxing out his man up front. Does a good job protecting the puck, shows good patience and makes a good first pass out of the zone. He does default to the flip out if there isn’t anything to pass to. When he skates with the puck he does so really well. He didn’t really open it up too much but I found when he did skate in and get bottlenecked at the blue line, he would just crank it at the goalie which may throw off the forwards depending if they are expecting a dump and chase or wrap around. Not a terrible thing, just found he did it more than I’ve seen most defenders do. He did get burned in deep but recovered nicely and backchecked hard to knock the puck away. He has decent speed and it showed.
One thing I really noted was his anticipation away from the puck. He read the play really well and you could see him expecting the coming pass when he was defending allowing him to intercept or simply break it up. I was very impressed with his ability to do that.
His offence is very nice. He knows when to activate and shows very nice patience on the offensive blue line and even showed some nice dancing along it to get around some pressure to get a shot off or pass. He had a great pass for Flints 4th goal that I didn’t even see as a option that ultimately got called off because of an offside but otherwise was a great play.
He saw more and more time as the game went on. He started 2nd line LD but he had to have played 4 min of the last 6 getting double shifted, protecting the lead which says a lot of his game and confidence from the coach.
No glaring negatives that I saw. He appears to have a decent IQ and knows his role and has confidence.
Too early to really tell what we have long term, but he has some really nice tools to work with and I predict we will see him on the Moose sooner than later (I think he’s available for that option)
Series is 2-2 and hoping to catch another of work schedule allows it

Forgive any spelling or grammatical errors, beer lady was really kind tonight.

Eyssimont and Malott were pleasant surprises but likely career minor leaguers.

Reichel and Kovacevic may have a chance as depth NHLers.

Chisholm and Samberg look like the best bets to have decent NHL careers.

Get Perfetti on your list — kid is gonna be a star.

I agree with @Gil Fisher and his/her/their assessment of the others.

Malmö strengthens the squad with intended excellence.

Former Frölunda junior Kristian Vesalainen, according to SportExpressen's information, must agree with Skåneklubben on a contract.

- A player I know, says sports director Björn Liljander.

The almost 23-year-old Finn was in Frölunda as a junior. But already as an 18-year-old he disappeared back to Finland.

He was selected by Winnipeg in the first round in 2017 and has also had the chance to play his part in Winnipeg's team. Last season, there were a total of 53 NHL games for Vesalainen, who, however, ended the season in the AHL with Manitoba.

Now the idea is that he will make a restart in Europe.

Kristian Vesalainen strengthens Malmö Redhawks
Then it is Malmö who has managed to seize Vesalainen who is intended as a top six forward in team building next season.

Björn Liljander, who had Vesalainen in Frölunda, is of course the one behind the recruitment.

- It is clear that I have control over Vesalainen. But I do not really have much more to say than this right now. We'll see what happens, says LIljander.

According to information to SportExpressen, everything has already been agreed, and the contract has been signed. Vesalainen is intended as a top six forward in the new team building and the line to recruit young and developable with a drive forward will be Malmö's tune during this year's silly season.

Vesalainen, who played ready for the season, may be officially presented as early as next week.

Dont blame Vesalainen. He is not doing anything in the NHL. IMO was not put in a position to succeed but did little to earn better icetime either.

Might get a 3rd or 4th rounder for his rights :( Chevy's 1st 1st round bust.

bullshit he never got a true chance Wheeler and Schiefele didn't like as he was a threat to their ice time.
Well, Vesalainen isn’t a centre so I don’t see how he would affect Scheifele’s ice time, and I’m also not sure how his three points in 50+ games (no matter how much ice time he got) was a threat to the nearly PPG Wheeler.
