Prospect Info: Jets Prospects

I need this guy to get into the NHL with us. I hate that he signed a 2 year deal.

He’s an intriguing prospect that’s for sure. Either as a member of the Jets or a trade chip to get some immediate help. Hope he continues driving up his value one way or another.

I have already moved on from him as a Jets prospect in my head. Even if he comes here after this deal he will be 25 when he gets here just 2 years from UFA... presumably he spends part of or most of 1 year in the AHL (will he even have the patience for that at 25?) and we have 1 real NHL season for him before he hits UFA. That is if he does actually decide to come over at the end of the current deal in the first place. I have him as top trade chip to use this deadline.

It's too bad... he could have come over this fall and likely would have gotten an NHL look after spending a couple of months in the AHL ahead of Toni/AJF.

No, he'd still be restricted to a 1 year, 2-way ELC until 2028, maybe 2027 if I'm mistaken

So if signs after next season, it has to be a 1-year ELC. Then we'll have 2 years of RFA after that.

Maybe it's the bad stream quality but it's unclear how much contact to the head there even was.
