Probably not, but he engages physically every shift, every opportunity. And has some size to him. He’s only 19, and plays that way in a men’s league.

If he can put up modest points, he’ll be a nice top 4 addition one day.
The Trouba comparison is an interesting one, and not bad. His skating is better than Trouba's. Salomonsson is an outstanding skater, with speed and mobility. He's not nearly as aggressive in jumping into the rush as Trouba was as a Jet. But he plays an aggressive defensive game and uses his skating and size to keep tight gaps. I think he has offensive upside, and is starting to look more for his offense at the SHL level.

I see him as a potential top-4 RD that can play a strong defensive game and jump into the rush the way that Bowness pushes.

DD cut from Team Canada. Womp... womp...

It looked like the Jets would have a boffo group of prospects at the WJHC, with DD, Barlow, McGroarty, Salomonsson and Wagner. Now it looks like it might be just the two Swedes, with injuries to Barlow and McGroarty and DD's slump.

Looking like he'll be good for the WJC barring a setback if he's lining up with Cutter Gauthier for a scrimmage

I snicker at Snuggerup.

Jacob Julien with another goal and assist in the 1st. He's going to be relied on pretty heavily for offense until the top scorers get back from the World Juniors.
Would a redraft have Jacob Julien in the top 3 rounds?

I'm not the excitment police

I hadn't actually noticed that he was draft eligible in 2022. Only made the cut by 3 days so would have been one of the youngest in the draft.
Crazy pace the last 10 games. 6’4” perhaps he’s figuring it out.
