I believe many of the Finnish posters are reminded of the classic thread "What is the biggest animal you could take down with your bare hands?" on a forum in the Finnish side of the internet.

Apparently the key is to go for the eyes.

Still maintain that the "Storm Chips" were the best concession item ever served at MTS Centre. Deep fried tortillas chips dusted with sugar and cinnamon with caramel and frosting...*drool*

They trialled it during the 2015 playoff home games, and the portion size was absolutely comical: think like a regular platter of nachos you'd get at a bar. They scaled it back the next season. Now I see it's off the menu altogether. :(

At the moment it's as if the NZ food scene is doing everything in its power to introduce everything BUT poutine. Cheese and bacon on your fries at maccas? No problem. Sweet chilli and sour cream? Sure. Mince and cheese? Got it. But gravy and actual curds? Nah we're good.

LOL I'm such a troll. You're not supposed to have any sort of server with Shaw. I really can't complain with that ping, it is 256 bit encryption and the VPN server is off of a consumer grade router.

Right, I think we're getting there. Poutine, smothered in chili, served between two waffles, drizzled with maple-chipotle crema, topped with bacon and pickled jalapenos.

Edit: Maybe open faced on one waffle. We should try to be sensible now.

I was waiting for a price drop on steam for some while now but it didn't happen. Haven't checked lately though.

It does look like a great game for sure and word is, the gameplay is nearly as addictive as DarkSouls.

Thanks to you boys I just got myself an away medium. The Sportschek in Polo Park has small, medium and some large I think at least in away, home and HC blanks. Lots of Scheif and Buff jerseys too.

If I had seen a Laine I might have bought that too :laugh:

Some interesting Chess today at the World Championship.

Carlsen (my favorite) down 5-4 in the series to Karjakin, looking to strike back in today's game. He seems to have a slight advantage entering the endgame, despite some blunders from both sides. Can he pull it out and tie up the series?

What a game! Carlsen managed to pull it off in a really tight ending. Game 11 Sat. Game 12 Mon. Playoffs if necessary: Tuesday.
