Myers was ok in his own end, but in offensive zone.. was it in second where Laine (? not sure) was all open, holding stick ready to shoot, and Myers opted to shoot himself, just to miss the goddamn net and lose posession. I mean, right now he couldn't hit a train when standing on the track.

I'm concerned but I'll give him 10 games more before starting to criticize him. He had such a long break that I kinda expected this

I didnt mean the exact games. Just turn 10 games we might have otherwise lost into otl. Losing is not good but if you can get points by otl its not fatal. Last year with all the injuries we went on a road trip and lost all 5 games in regulation . Going 0-2-3 wouldnt have killed our season.

Myers has been bad this year, and yeah its early and yeah he's coming off of an injury plagued season but this is concerning. I really think him and Kulikov need to be sheltered more, or maybe more importantly, split up, because they have been pretty bad together.

Pretty sure that last season we were 6 points, and 2 wins away from making the playoffs

Nice road game when your keeper steals 1 or 2 points. We played ok when we weren't in the box which is pretty good considering this is the penguins in Pitt. We should have had 2 or 3 more goals. They should have had 1 or 2 more goals - 1 or 2 dozen that is.

I don't really see how Hendricks helps in any way. What am I missing? Faceoffs I guess.

Trouba - moments of dreadful out there.

Generally, Buff looked good. Toby had his moments of WTF? Myers didn't look as horrible today. Kuli - I don't remember him F'ing up. Nice to have him back.

Laine should pretty much always shoot when he is in the circle. Don't try to force something through bodies across ice.

In 2 years we have gone from being one of the heaviest, hardest hitting teams to play against, to basically a creampuff team other than Buff and Lowry. Now is where I get flamed. Don't shoot the messenger.

We take too many penalties

Maurice will say we played a good game, but this was really Helle's point. Yeah, Murray was good but Helle had to be spectacular to keep this close.
