We have a 4th line now too , did you see Shaw's goal ? :naughty: Kidding aside that was a wicked shot right where mommy hides the cookies .

He's always had a really good shot and does well with it on the PP with the Moose, could be a nice secret PP weapon with Perreault down but I'm sure we'll see Lowry instead.

I have a lot of confidence in this team right now. It's a great feeling knowing that if they start slow, that they have the ability to come back.

I would of course prefer that they work the bugs out of these slow starts, but I'm very happy with what we have right now.

If we get the Buff and Little situations worked out, wow.

Shore and Bourque have really boosted that 4th line. Shaw can skate fast (in straight lines) and he's got a very good shot, but he reacts slowly. Shore looks like a very smart player. Bourque gets on the forecheck and pressures the D. That line is miles better than the Luoto-Gustafsson-Shaw trio.

Little's injury may have low-key been the best thing that could have happened to the Jets.

Sounds kind of ****ed up to say that, but it forced Maurice to split up Scheif/Wheels and lead to us having two good top 6 lines instead of 1. Ehlers-Wheeler-Roslovic has been dynamite, very impressed by Wheeler to be able to shift to centre effectively and Ehlers is just a possession monster that drives play no matter who he plays with. Roslovic goes through spells where he looks like he can be an offensive force, if he can improve on his consistency he might turn into a top 6 player after all.

When Little comes back, it makes much more sense to slide him into the bottom 6 imo.

I was thinking this just this morning. Little's injury kind of a blessing in disguise.

I think placing Little as 3C, pushing Copp/Lowry down will give us a strong F core.

Of course, knowing Maurice, he'll put Wheeler back with Scheif and put Little back at 2C :help:

Will we see Little until just before playoffs if at all? I would guess we won't see major changes at that point unless the team is playing poorly.

Didn’t watch the entire game. Able to record the 2nd period which most of domination happen. Good win Jets. Hopefully we can carry this momentum through the Xmas holidays. I recall last season the Jets struggle starting in Jan I suspect last years version had many players with contract issues on their mind. Something that should not be a problem this year

Roslovic, Shaw, Shore, Bourque, Beaulieu, Sbisa, Bitetto, Brossoit, Kulikov, Appleton.

Oh, you know, when the Jets are winning, the anti-fans just happen to be on extended work trips/didn’t watch the game. Maybe they’ll add a couple of sentences “based on highlights”.

Have they abandoned watching the Jets? Nah. They just seem catch the rare loss and boy, do they have a lot to say then.

Well, I am glad the rest of the forum is now catching onto these antics!
See my post above about the loss to Detroit the other night...but I hope you won't let those facts interfere with your false narrative. ;)

Well we lost 5-2 to the worst team in the league on Thursday and that thread didn't hit 4 pages until noon on Friday...
Everyone just wanted to think that game didn't happen , just a figment of our imaginations . ;)

I remember when the Negative Nancy’s said early in the year, “Wait until the Jets have games against playoff calibre teams.”

You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me?

 Just pointed out early on that we hadn't played any good teams yet. Now we have. Turns out it is the bad teams we have trouble with.

Only 3 pages on the PGT when we win 7-3  how many pages would we be at if we lost 7-3 ? I'm guessing we would have 3 pages of fire Maurice alone if we lost 7-3 .:naughty:

There's not a lot to say when things go right. What there is doesn't generate much argument.

Gritty is Sh**ty. There, I've said it. Who wants to argue with that?

It was a fun game - but watching Roslovic continue to be unable to buy a goal was a little painful. Talk about snake bit. Ease up on the grip Jack.

I really think that pass was a smart play there. Elliot was pretty square to Laine. Laine determined a successful pass across to Scheifele would be a better chance to score than him trying to pick a corner there.

Could be.... regardless, he's looking at all options instead of just shooting, which will only make him a better player :)

I am probably alone on this but I love watching those two play on the same line against the best the other team has to offer. They are both exceptional at what they do well one just has to sit back and enjoy the finer points of guys who can dominate while having slightly below average finishing skills.

For pure joy I like to isolate on either guy and follow them for a shift when I am live at the game. They are both so ****ing smart without the puck either attacking or defending.

Adding a little finish would sure be nice though. They set up enough chances.
