Wow, the hot take on Connor on the Flyers thread. Laugh worthy.

Just a Shayne stan. Nothing to see there.

Why didn’t the Flyers pull that goalie until he let in 6? He was just terrible.

Backups get hung out to dry on the starter's night off.

Only 3 pages on the PGT when we win 7-3  how many pages would we be at if we lost 7-3 ? I'm guessing we would have 3 pages of fire Maurice alone if we lost 7-3 .:naughty:

Eight pages...

just about Niku.

Man when Roslovic is skating and dipsy doodling like last night he's fun to watch . And i love how calm and cool Pionk plays , he's such a good skater . Trouba for Pionk looks better every game , the Heinola add is icing on the cake .

I'm fine judging Copp and Lowry by the roles they have, rather than the glimpses of the roles they could play if their hands were just a bit softer.

We're up by 1 in game 7 of the Cup final and the other team has pulled the goalie, I don't know who the other three guys are I want out but Copp and Lowry are #1 and #2. Morrissey #3 now that I think about it. But you get what I mean.

I'd rather say "they do their jobs great, LOL when they try and do other jobs" than call them failures because of their inability to punch above their weight class.

I am probably alone on this but I love watching those two play on the same line against the best the other team has to offer. They are both exceptional at what they do well one just has to sit back and enjoy the finer points of guys who can dominate while having slightly below average finishing skills.

For pure joy I like to isolate on either guy and follow them for a shift when I am live at the game. They are both so f***ing smart without the puck either attacking or defending.

My god Lowry is skinny

I saw him at Starbucks on Corydon a few weeks ago and I said to him "wow you are one skinny dude" and he said back "well it looks like you could lose a few pounds"

Ok that is hilarious. Did you laugh when you got chirped back?

Most NHL players are muscular but on the lean side. Scheifele is really lean.......Stanley is a bean poll......that is why it’s so funny to see Buff because he just does not look anything like a hockey player.

I hope all the Flyers fans at the arena enjoyed the game today, your team sucks thanks for the 2 pts.

I give a tip of the hat the Flyers fans they always have a huge representation at our games but the ones around me were very good sports in defeat. Most of them joined in on the wave

Fun game to be at Flyers started really slow but I thought they had a slight edge in the play up until they took that completely senseless penalty. I really wanted them to pay for that hit and I was glad to see it cost them the game.

Two beautiful screens by Lowry and Connor on snipes by Sbisa and Wheeler.

Been a while since I have seen a live game drunk. I marvel at Morrissey’s skating technique........Pionk is so smart with the puck I can’t believe how well we made out on that trade. Beaulieu was a train wreck for most of the game but he made a beautiful sliding defensive play in the 3rd. I hope that helps his confidence because he has REALLY struggled lately. When Roslo is skating he is fun to watch, he and Ehlers can give the other team fits. Wheeler looks like a new man at centre on that line please do not change it.

Laine is taking that next step isn’t he? So much stronger on the wall now and the speed of his game is so much better. We are just starting to see the beginning of a super star emerge now and I am thrilled.

Just saw that hit on Perrault for the first time.
It wasn’t dirty in the sense on elbow up shoulder to the chin stuff... like that.
But holy hell was that late. I am pretty certain he will get a couple games for it.

Oh, you know, when the Jets are winning, the anti-fans just happen to be on extended work trips/didn’t watch the game. Maybe they’ll add a couple of sentences “based on highlights”.

Have they abandoned watching the Jets? Nah. They just seem catch the rare loss and boy, do they have a lot to say then.

Well, I am glad the rest of the forum is now catching onto these antics!

Little's injury may have low-key been the best thing that could have happened to the Jets.

Sounds kind of f***ed up to say that, but it forced Maurice to split up Scheif/Wheels and lead to us having two good top 6 lines instead of 1. Ehlers-Wheeler-Roslovic has been dynamite, very impressed by Wheeler to be able to shift to centre effectively and Ehlers is just a possession monster that drives play no matter who he plays with. Roslovic goes through spells where he looks like he can be an offensive force, if he can improve on his consistency he might turn into a top 6 player after all.

When Little comes back, it makes much more sense to slide him into the bottom 6 imo.

Jets deserved to win, by far the more dangerous team and largely controlled the game.

Philly did literally nothing that impressed me or gave me concern they might make it a game.

Laine trying to pass on what was pretty much a breakaway and scoring anyway, was the hockey gods trying to tell him something. Shoot the puck son.

That Laine 'inadvertant' goal, shows you exactly what he is attempting to accomplish this year. He isn't even thinking about goals.

Buff is a linebacker that can skate and shoot .

Not trying to rub it in but did anyone see the Tyler Myers play against Vegas ? I would have been pissed if he was still a Jet and did that . He didn't even try to skate back , and i can't stand watching a player do that . Even if you are completely bagged , you still bury your head and try . 6 million NOT well spent .

We have three lines that I love to watch for different reasons now.

First line, when the three of them are attacking on the rush, they just look incredible and in the O zone, they control the boards and find so many great opportunities.

Second line, Wheeler has become a very good center. His ability and Ehlers' and Roslovic's speed and agility just give the opposition fits. It's amazing to watch.

Third line , I would love this line to be able to score more, but they are a treat to watch. The way that they are so dangerous breaking up plays in both ends and making something out of nothing is so fun to watch. I hope MP is able to come back right away, he helps that line a lot.

Once we get some players back or free up some cap space, we can improve the fourth line.

Adding in the surprise of Pionk and Helle returning to form, the team is extremely fun to watch.
