Bottom line, KC produces with his chances, Ehlers doesn’t! Ehlers had a better game than he has been having in the last 15 games, do agree Ehlers would be an improvement over PP time hog Wheeler who has become ineffective on the PP #1 and more of a liability.

Why is Ehlers immune from criticism, seems to be a pattern with Ehlers, great player up until the Christmas break and kinda disappears when the NHL tightens up after the break and in the PO’s. Can also say that he is consistently inconsistent.

The Rangers are a team that has been trending upwards over the last 25 games. The Jets are not.

It’s reasonable to suggest the Rangers are simply a better team than the Jets at this point. The my question is why are the Ranges better. Is it because they have more talented players or are they just have better coaching. I’d suggest the latter.

At 5v5 Connor and Ehlers both have 33 points, Connor has played 88 0min, while Ehlers has played 827 (equivalent to ~ 4 fewer games.) The biggest difference between the two is that the Jets give up WAY more in their own zone when Connor is on the ice than when Ehlers is on the ice. Ehlers is a much more effective player in his own zone then Connor.

Gets pretty humid in other seasons though, no? We rented a place there for 2 weeks and there was black mold all over the place -- manager said the A/C had been off for a stretch, and that's what you get when the A/C is off for a stretch... Ya picks your poison, though some poisons feel poisonier than others. At least WPG won't fall into the sea, I guess.

It's funny I am wearing my Wheeler jersey, watching the game, and I am saying the exact same thing. There is only one option covered on the 3-1, the other two are direct shots, and he passes it up. He got a good shot off in the 2nd but we were down 2 goals by then. I would say that play completely changed the momentum.

Yup he had only 3 possibilities. 1 of them was covered. That's the one he went with.

Hockey happens very fast. Everybody is going to make some bad decisions. But that one stood out. Good grief! You can't go too far wrong if you just take the shot.

The Sharks player (Braun) who dissed Winnipeg the city, and its weather is no longer with the team. He now plays for Philly. That said, since the Sharks are out of the playoffs, I hope they do Winnipeg a solid and let the Jets win!
