We're going to be in the same Division as St. Louis, not sure we make a trade with them. Perron would be nice though.

Weird. I wouldn't mind Coburn as the 2nd pair LHD. I think people would have to temper their expectations (or read the flyers board to see how much he has struggled lately).

Not interested if we had to give up a lot though.

Is this just a glitch though? When you go to the roster page I don't see his name.

No idea, trying to confirm. Just googled Coburn NHL stats and a link brought me to this page...

Coburn is listed because he played for Atlanta. You can find any former player who played with Atlanta and you can find him listed as a Winnipeg Jet.

If the Jets traded to the 7th, I would imagine it would be to get Monahan or Lindholm (if they're there).

I think the Oilers have 2 seconds? Maybe we could get 1 or both of those?

The Outer Limits.
I'd trade Burmi for Nichuskin....

I'd definitely consider trading Burmi for #7 so long as the deal does not include our #13. Heck I might even throw a defenseman like Postma their way to sweeten the deal.

Still don't know if I'd trust selecting Nichushkin though. Has nothing to do with talent.

To be honest, I'd still likely shy away from drafting him, but maybe that's just me wanting the security of knowing the player they select is unlikely to bolt for the KHL when things don't go his way or the KHL will offer him something ridiculous when he becomes an RFA like Bobrovsky.

I'd take Domi at #7 and at #13 I'd take Wennberg/Horvat/Gauthier and be very content.

Very few impact NHLers bolt to the KHL.

It doesn't sound like Bob the goalie will either.

Stay at 13, moving up to 7 would cost us our 13 and likely 2 second rounders... No thanks... Keep building our farm team and future. Ie. whats the huge diff btwn say a top 10 and top 15 player? Not likely much. 3 players for 1? Not unless they're a top 5 pick.

Burmi for the 7 pick? .. No way edm makes that deal

Edmonton wants to get bigger and tougher. So do we.

Can't see a deal that fits for both. Can't see Burmi or Buff being of interest to Oil. And would not want Bogo or Trouba involved in a deal.

Eh, we're big enough. I'd rather get better.

Anyone who thinks the Jets will struggle in the new division because of a lack of size or physicality is just painting it with a fairly broad brush.
