Woke up way too early this morning. Laid down for a "30-minute" snooze around noon and didn't wake up until the start of the 2nd period. Apparently, this was good timing on my part.

Very impressed by the last two periods that I was awake for.

Still can make the playoffs just have to pretty much win out though that might not even be enough with how Washington is playing.

Pretty easy road the rest of way for Jets.

Good game by the jets. I am however quite disappointed to the response or lack thereof to hartnell going after Ladd, wheeler, little and pavelec. A harsh response was needed! Somebody should have beat the pulp out of hartnell! The jets could have used that emotion to carry into the next game and to show each other they aren't giving up this season. Good win, could have beat down hartnell to gain some more momentum as a team tho.

We were up 4-1. All Hartnell did was bury himself. Dicipline. It's not like Hartnell took some crazy run at one of our players. All he did was yap and throw a couple of hits. No reason to give Philly any life.

I guess you didn't see Bogo going after him. He laid him out twice after Wheeler went down...the second time being that finishing your check/interference penalty.

Was a good game. The house was rockin for most of the game. I thought our Italian line did ok... Santorelli, Tangradi and Burmatelli I really really like Wright's game. The bonehead play of the game didn't even happen on the ice. Andrew "Hustler" Paterson decided to flip the camera the bird during kiss cam . Wonder if he will have a meeting at 1290 on Monday.

Beauty game, was nice to run into some subpar goaltending for once. Jets were consistently worked along the boards during the first period, but they came out with plenty of jam after that. Hainsey and Bogo did a great job, Hainsey in particular made some really heads-up plays around the Jets net. Jokinen is still frustrating as hell to watch, zero sense of how to use his size to shield and move the puck in the cycle.

Hartnell is such a piece of trash. Was running around the entire third period, and drove Enstrom's head into the glass during their PP. I got to see him up close today, he loves throwing gratuitous little shots in during those board battles. Such a joke.

Kind of odd that Jets are 8th in the entire league in the meaningless and obscure stat of having more goals than the other team after 60 minutes (18 regulation wins).

Burmi looked good and played with confidence. Pavs made timely saves and I heard from a good source that Trouba watched the game with Zinger, and Zinger told him not to do what Buff and Clitty do . Anyway, great win, and a LOL'd about the Hustler thing!
