This team. I really don't know what they were doing 3/4 of this game. They looked completely discombobulated out there. No one Ilyas making good reads and as a result we squandered what could have been a bunch of decent looks. Can anyone actually tell me what systems we use because I couldn't see one tonight.

Helle actually came to play tonight which is the only reason we were still in it after 2.


Refs were a joke and gifted them that empty net on an absolute blatant trip. Good on JoMo and Dubois to give it to those useless hacks wearing stripes. I hope someone rips them in the post game press conference.

This really should make it easier for Chevy.

I don't think he's necessarily saying that the smaller defensemen are to blame in that quote. It's more an indictment of the Jets defensemen as a whole in my opinion.

Oh wow. Add that to my list of proof of Roy's vindication. Down by 3 with 12 minutes left, why not. I suspect it would be clearly correct on a power play, where you only need like 2:1 'odds' (i.e. a goal for only has to be twice as valuable to your P(Win) than a goal against). 6-on-4 PPs are surprisingly resilient. Honestly, my only concern would be being hauled in front of the league's office on suspicion of throwing the over/under. And suffice it to say this mindset is far closer to optimal than Jurassic Lowry's bizarre refusal to start the PP with an extra attacker out in the offensive zone with only 1:20 left. Remember when Ehlers almost holds it in? If he's set up there, he holds it in.

jets got outworked and worked over in their very first game against the Ducks and then again a night later by San Jose…Jet players figured they just had to show up to win and still do….team has no guts or will to do what it takes to win…captain wheezer overpayed and his boy robin scniefle play like they don’t give a shit MOST nights!

Every team cycles through the middling players when they become too expensive to keep. We got some great years out of him at a very good rate.

A new coach with no connection to TNSE is needed for this team, come to think about it a new GM with no connection to this organization might not be a bad idea too, start fresh with with guys that have no allegiance to the core vets on this team, status quo is not an option
