Its about producing on the ice... Love Matty P but... I think it's time to sit him for a game or 2 so he can watch plus... Doesnt hurt to rest the guy.. Hes likely banged up. Im not saying sit his ass permanently.. Just let him watch a game.. Heal up whatever is ailing him.

Sure, if we ignore the fact that he's accumulated 278 pts in 490 games, which could be considered borderline first line numbers. And has 40+ pts every season as a Jet and will still probably hit that mark this year even with his slump.

Are you saying you weren't all for replacing Tanev for most of the season? If they put Perrault in over Connor chef wheeler Laine stas or ehlers I'd be pissed. Deep is a good thing but he can't beat out anyone in top 6 for a spot.

Even if you have a hall of fame career if you ain't been doing anything lately you aren't above being benched.
