Are you saying you weren't all for replacing Tanev for most of the season? If they put Perrault in over Connor chef wheeler Laine stas or ehlers I'd be pissed. Deep is a good thing but he can't beat out anyone in top 6 for a spot.

I think MP would do well with Laine and Stastny.

Most of the season? No. I said long ago Tanev had proven me wrong in a lot of ways with his game. Having said that I still wouldn't have a big issue with Roslo coming in for him.

When I was advocating for Tanev to be out of the lineup, it wasn't for Dano that's for sure.

Point is Perreault can slot into the top 6 if anyone of those guys are struggling. He has a history of being someone who can get players going.

I think you want to play your best players as much as possible. If he is than play him. If it will get the team back on track play him. Right now he's not doing anything so can't hurt.

Sorry you're perception of Perreault as some rescue project is a bit laughable. It's like players have never gone through cold streaks in your world, it happens. You don't go benching 9 year vets, who have a far bigger track record of solid production, and who have still been doing a lot of good things and creating some great chances. The guy needs some luck, not a benching.

I love MP... I think id rest him tho.. Last few games he goes down and it takes a while for him to get up .Hes obviously battling an injury of sorts. Id hate to lose him to injury in games that dont mean much

In your world all veterans who have a track record of success deserve to keep their spots so young upcomers should never get a chance.

Maybe, but we lost it REALLY well with Comrie in net. He was awful.
