We're worried about Stastny now? Whoo boy. Guess what? He's exactly what he's always been, he wasn't going to keep up the pace he was on when he first got here, people's expectations are crazy. He looks a lot like Little did earlier, doing a lot of things right, creating some chances, puck not going in. He's fine imo.
I thought that line would keep up the pace.

Perreault hasnt been good for a while.. Id sit him a game or 2 just to send him a message but Maurice wont.

Im sure if Maurice had his way... Gotovets would be called up... Cuz thats what Mo does .
Thank God it's not your call, that's all I'll say.

Players post-game audio: Wheeler, Little and Comrie.

Coach Maurice post-game scrum topics: What didn't work tonight after such a strong homestand? Is that an easier game to forget when multiple things went wrong? What did the Hawks do to keep the shots to the outside? Did he get a sense of frustration from his team? Thoughts on facing the emergency backup goalie? On it being a trap game.

Matty 's in a serious slump and without his production, that line will struggle. He needs to score soon - 18 games will mess with your mind.
Little IMO, is playing well right now - I have no issue with his game. Imagine if Matty was up to speed - that line would be productive.
Matty needs to get it sorted out
Why not sit Perraults ass down for roslovic?

Not going to worry about this one. It's always disappointing when the Jets lose but it's going to happen. They've played 6 tough games in a row at home without a loss. The Jets have already clinched a playoff spot and tonight's game probably lacked intensity for them since Chicago has long been eliminated from the playoff race. There's no pressure on the Blackhawks and they had a lot of young players trying to make an impression on management for next season. We may see something similar next week in the games against Ottawa and Montreal. I'm sure once the Jets return home to Winnipeg for their last 2 home games in front of an energetic crowd at BellMTS Place, they will be fired up to put on a good show before the start of the playoffs.

For sure. Keep playing the guy who has 1 point in 17 games and 1 goal in the last 3rd of the season who is probably banged up. For sure .Put Scheif and Wheeler on the PK also in these nothing games too.
What does Scheif and Wheels on the PK have to do with Perreault?

He doesn't looked banged up to me, tonight aside he's looked good, he's had zero luck. Keep him in the lineup, he's always been one of the Jets P60 leaders.

Besides, pulling him out to give him a breather is a far cry from benching him to send a message. The latter would be foolish.

However you have to explain it to Perrault equals same thing.

I'd rather sit armias down for roslovic. Perreault has proven he can get hot. Armia not so much.

Perreault has 1 goal in his last 27 games... What hes proven is... Nope
.. He hasnt proven that in almost a 3rd.. Heck... Darn near half of the Jets games this year.

The loss was worth it for the long run. I feel it will make us get back up on our feet going into next game.

Comrie, on the other hand, is not even close to NHL ready. Let in so many softies, makes me think if we should switch him with Hutchinson or if Mason is back we start one of those two if we have to give Hellebuyck another break.

Absolutely. Comrie is 4th on our depth list in my opinion.

Good thing the Jets aren't this knee jerk.

Or short sighted.

He was great with limited time on the 4th line. I liked cool little and Perrault more than armies little Perrault. If you play Perrault 4th line do you play little copp armia?

He brings nothing lately but penalties. Time for some press box duty.
