Brassard's god awful turnover is the exact play that cost this team Game 1 against Boston.

Will he ever learn? Such a stupid hockey player.

I'm tired of "taking the positives" out of the game. What good are positives when we aren't winning? Losing to mediocre teams at that.

I've said this again, and again. We won't make the playoffs with this back and forth in goal. Talbot is getting too much playing time.

For us to make the post season Lundqvist needs to find his Vezina form. And he isn't going to find it being rested once out of every three games.

He is a work horse. He needs to play routinely to find his groove. He's used to starting 60-70 games a season. In some instances over 70 games.

This isn't a playoff team without Henrik in Vezina form.

Brodeur in his prime had HORRIBLE stretches at points with the Devils in his career. They stuck with him and played him game after game, until he found his stride, and after that it paid off. And Lundqvist isn't even playing poorly in November. People need to rethink what poor goaltending is.

You ride your star players to the ground. Lundqvist is our star player, stop the head games, and give him the reigns to do what he does best, find his game and carry the load.

Yep, agreed. I guess AV isnt used to having a consistent goalie. One thing Torts did right was play Hank. This goaltending crap is getting old fast. like you said, Hank is our star player, play the damn guy.

Positives: McD had a fantastic game again
uhh...I guess Cally was good?
and...maybe give a nod to the...cotton candy guy?
Oh yeah, and the GOAT 1st intermission. Charlie pls YT.

Negatives: Talbot fell back to Earth
Staal was handling the puck like a grenade
Brassard's terrible pass
Refs not calling a trip on Stepan or interference on CK.
Bad puck management.
****** powerplay.

One of the core pieces needs to go. And I mean now. This team is WAY too complacent for my liking.

An insult to grenades.

Fell off the face of the earth after his goal. Barely heard his name since.

Sather needs to shop a real heavyweight asap.

Falk got ragdolled and embarrassed the whole team, so much the entire game plan went down with him :shakehead

That PP we had when it was 2-2 was absolutely Brutal, the Jets had better chances short handed.......momentum killer !!

Need to give good pieces to get good pieces.

The core right now is good, but not great. No-one should be off limits except for Lundqvist and McD.

If players cared as much as we all do, you'd see a much different team out there.

I'm sure they care plenty. This is their career; this is what they have been doing since they were three. This is what they've strived for. Unfortunately, there are other players who want the same thing as Ryan Callahan does.

So as much as it's nice to sit here and think that we care a lot more than the players, it's just a fallacy.

As much as it kills me, I'm slowly accepting this.

Once again, it kills me to say that.

I just don't understand. I lost alot of faith in AV when he selected Arniel...
I just don't get it. They are a loser franchise. An absolute embarrassment. The most poorly run organization in the league, why are we bringing in their personnel?

Nash is one thing, but Brassard, Moore, and that Clown Dorsett are crap players. Sorry, but it's the truth. Moore has some upside ok, but the other two?

Depth moves to placate a coach you fired a month after the fact?

Lundqvist isn't off limits to me.

McD, Step, Kreids, and Nash are off limits.

No. He won't. I don't get why fans expect more out of Brassard. He is 26 and it is his 7th or 8th season in the NHL. He's not going to magically improve. People keep thinking he is a top-6 forward because of his post season last year, and I always said it was the rarity for him, not the rule.

He's a 3rd line forward, has been virtually all of his career with the exception of one or two seasons, and with his skill set, he doesn't really fit the 3rd line role.

And I know this has been beaten to death, but Gaborik for Dorsett (4th liner), Moore (prospect) and Brassard (3rd liner) was an awful move IMO. I don't care if Gaborik was injury prone, if he was healthy, and in the line up, he'd be better than a 3rd / 4th liner and an unproven defense man. I still can't get over it.

I like how split the board is on DZ tonight.

I thought he played like ****. He and Girardi were a nightmare. Cool, he deked a guy in the neutral zone twice, and shot one wide, and the other floated a weak wrister right at Pavelec.

He's going to play in Buffalo, though. Falk will be out for Moore. AV needs to pick 6 D and ****ing stick with it.

I'd still trade DZ for a winger.
