And it's not just the tough sell Jets...
My Lady and I are lucky... we can meet the challenges of inflation these days as we have no debt... and have a great life in general...
Many people are struggling with the rampant inflation in our economy right now...
My prayers are with those struggling...
Enjoying some time at the forks before my flight. I love every visit home.
Back to game. I am really, really happy with our play. I am almost shocked at how well we carry the play 5 on 5
Ok but there's only 6 d and do we want Dillon and Schmidt out there? Kind of running out of optionsDidn't say it was, I said that it's stupid to have Pionk on the ice in these situations as he gets scored on more than any player in the league when down a man. Scheifele could also take some blame there being up at the blue line checking the same player as Vilardi. Regardless of fault on this individual goal the recurring theme is that if the other team has more players on the ice and Pionk is on they're more likely to score.
Agreed. Damn, I think that this pair with ville and Dillon would look much better.Loved everything about that game outside the last 5 minutes. I hate the bunker defend style and that is what we went to and it nearly bit us. But all in all another real good game by the team.
Helle was better tonight but still has another level in him.
JoMo was beating and DeMelo was very good. Morrissey looks poised for another Norris caliber year.
Pionk/Snerg - another solid night for this pairing. Snerg just compliments Pionk's game quite well.
Dillion/Schmidt - A whole lot of meh from this pairing I thought.
Top line: Conner and Scheifele were flying out there. Vilardi was a bit quieter then the first game but still was solid.
Second line: Cole looked much more comfortable going forward tonight. Made a heads up pass on DeMelo's goal. Ehlers and Nino played real well as well and the line could have had a couple more. They crushed their matchups once again.
Third line: Did their best work on the PK imo. Were solid but not great 5 on 5.
Fourth line: Kupari is really growing on me. Future 3C imo. Barron was good and name was ok.
Onto next game.
Chef was pissed about the reverse hit Chucky put on him. Wasn’t much of a fight, as Bambi tripped and dragged him down with him. I love the fire coming from 55. I want that consistently.Missed the early part of the game, but the post game show said Scheifele got into a fight with Tkachuk ? Just wondering how he did in that fight, as Tkachuk is a tough customer.
How about Dillon and not Schmidt?Ok but there's only 6 d and do we want Dillon and Schmidt out there? Kind of running out of options

The Reffing was Garbage in the 3rd.
This is following his AHL start at C to a t. Getting used to the positioning and defensive responsibilities. I thought he was more involved offensively then last game. To be fair the line didn't get a tonne of ice time with all the penalties.
Missed this one, surprised at 13400 for the home opener, kinda brutal, bloom is off the rose! There is value in having a sold-out building, but most teams are looking to maximize that revenue stream by having empty seats.
Ticket prices need to come down.
You mean you like him more than Kuhlman??I didn't know what to expect but Kupari could become the steal of the trade, really liked his game today
Longing for the days of $5 jet games when you bought a big mac meal.Well it is a very expensive form of entertainment live. 2 mid range tickets with a little food and a couple beers is easily a $400 night.
Enjoy your time out eastEnjoying some time at the forks before my flight. I love every visit home.

If Kupari keeps dishing like that to Barron, Barron will have to build Kup’ a sauna or something..Yeah, very entertaining. The Morrissey stick assist was fun and the Kupari play ahead of the Barron goal was otherworldly.
