I’m warming up to the Jets signing Money for 3-4 years.

Boy was I wrong about him.

After the trade I had to defend that he’s not a fourth line centre. Happy he’s fitting in well as he has a rough injury patch.
Missed the game but always glad to hear we beat the Wild.

Where did this offense come from? Who knows, but I like it! Keep scoring Jets! I missed the first two goals by Vilardi and Appleton as my laptop crashed, then I fell asleep sometime in the third period and missed the second one by Vilardi, before waking up after Monahan's goal. I'll have to watch the replays to see them all. From what I did see, the Jets didn't play badly, at least not until the end with those two late goals by the Mild. I give this game four Ron Burgundy's out of five...

Gabe and Rick saying the same, and there were legit posters in the GDT who were getting upset at people pointing out how bad the top line was at 5v5 tonight.

And get Barron back. He does a lot more out there than Kupe.

It's unrealistic to expect every game to be a dominant 5v5 and special teams performance.

However recognizing some of the short comings is a step

Great atmosphere at the game for a Tueaday night! 14, 700 im attendance and the crowd was loud and engaged all night. I actually had to deal with somewhat shitty traffic on Donald Ave after leaving, thats been pretty rare on a Monday/Tuesday game this season.

Idk about running the pp but I do think they can benefit more at 5v5 /even strength. Even aside from his offensive proficiency drawing PPs is helpful too.

The defense has become a little porous. A win is a win but come playoff time(if we get there I'd honestly rather we held down the fort with stellar goaltending and defensive play and won 2-1 than a track meet where we need 7 to win.

If we win the Cup he might want to stay around. I don't think he'd get the 6.375 he got on his previous contract from anyone but if we move out a couple bodies and find cheaper alternatives(Schmidt & Iafallo, though I do like him as a player) then we might be able to squeeze Monahan in at 4 a season.

That’s why I always find it so interesting the roller coaster ride around here. The worst teams in the NHL will win 1 in 3 and the very best teams will win 2 in 3 and everyone else is between that. Yet every game lost is made to be some glaring flaw in the team and organization.
