Have to get the PP going again and that's the only thing i will bitch about when we pick up 2 points on the road. 100 points by March 21st is always nice and still tied for 1st overall . Maybe as a great Winnipeg band says our dream is alive and coming true . Now we boogie-woogie...
Oh and in GingerPapa style we definitely need to get the PP to wake-up
Nice to see Tanev, Animal get his 1st goal back with the Jets.

Jets gotta get over their stanley cup hangover and get back to playing good hockey. 3 middling games in a row. Least they're getting points out of it but woof. Smash the Sabres on sunday, break some of these goalless streaks.

In honour of Ginger Papa, this game rates Three/Five Helping Thumpers. KFC's goal is the only thing I saw of the game, we had our own game to deal with, but holy living feckers that was a snipe.

You don’t think the team’s play is concerning? They haven’t looked this sloppy all year. Lose badly to the Canucks and barely beat the Oilers without their 2 best players.
This team isn’t so good that they can just flip the switch. Last 2 games have looked closer to the team that played in last season’s playoffs than the team we watched all season.
So now on 2 days rest they’ll come home and torch the Sabres making everything golden again until they play teams playing with playoff intensity and fine tuning their playoffs style game.
I was looking and Vilardi is more heavily dependent on the pp for points then the other top 6 players. He has over 40% of his production on the pp whereas the others are mostly in the low 30 percentages. So the pp going ice cold has probably hurt him the most.
Which PGT are you talking about Edmonton's or ours?
In case you missed it, 3 0n 3 our 3 are some of the most lethal players in the league

I loved Morrissey's half spin-o-rama to shed the forecheck and begin this sequence.
It will be interesting to see how the team plays down the stretch given we really don't have a heck of a lot to play for. Despite the the blip in play we remain 10 points up on Dallas and 13 on Colorado. Even with the games in hand the likelihood of Dallas challenging us for the top spot is really slim.

I think if Helle was his “normal” self, this would have been 3-1 Jets (and of course no need for overtime). Couple of stinkers got past him.
These graphics are in too small of a font. Please, a little consideration for us visually impaired old-timers.
The 40 goals for Connor and Scheifele are certainly within reach. I believe Connor has 38 goals now, so with 12 games to go I think he scores 6 more -,to total 44 goals. I figure he finishes with 44 or 45, unless the Jets rest him.
I think Scheifele has about 36 goals, so I figure he ends up at 42 or 43 goals.
If either gets a hatrick then it’s possible one could hit 50 goals ?
Either of them could hit 100 points, if they can get hot in the remaining games. Be nice to see, both do it.
I would love the Jets to clinch 1st in the west with some games left so guys like Scheifele, Connor, Morrissey and Helly can get some rest.
Still a lot to work on with this team.

Let Heinola play and maybe even Coghlan if you aren't confident in the 3rd pair. You can't run Jomo into the ground before the playoffs even start.

Josh should use that spin o Rama more often, especially on the point on the poweplay, to charge the net.
He’s great at that move.
I think it's the absence of Pionk that's driving most of Morrissey's extra time. Not sure how much tinkering with the bottom pair will matter.
Morrissey is now 3rd in the league in 5v5 ice time, and 5th in all-strengths TOI.
He looked pretty sharp in the OT last night, though...but yeah they gotta let him catch his breath.
