Post-Game Talk: Jets 4 - Coilers 3

Connor and Scheif played 24 minutes on 22 shifts. Getting back all the bad habits, cheating for offense, taking long shifts looking for just one more offensive sniff, never changing in the offensive zone. If they continue to play like that in the playoffs we won't go anywhere.
Agreed..the tying goal was on them but then Connor scores the winner. Gotta take the good with the bad but if they do not commit to the 200 foot game in.the playoffs it will spell early exit.

Hopefully Pionk gets into a few games before the playoffs, need him back in the top 4 and Schenn down to the 3rd pair.
On the tying goal I thought Schenn made the right play. Samberg had a forechecker on him so Schenn banked the puck off the boards for the winger or for Samberg to catch up to the puck but the Oilers D man took a big gamble pinching in and won this one.
Schenn is a good stay home D man and if a guy goes around him he takes him out of the play. I would like to see Schenn with JoMo for a few shifts … Demelo loses too many board battles against the heavy teams.

They way they’re playing, they’ll be toast against a hard charging Blues team fighting for that #8 spot.

Can the Blues catch Minnesota? Might be tough, but not impossible.

As a team I thought they pretty well had poor nights with the exception of the 4th line but 2/3 on the road late in the season is a great result so I'll temper my negativity.
I also do not want to go down the rabbit hole but their play since the Dallas game is concerning but rather be watching them fight for first and not a WC spot
Scheif and Connor are money at 3v3.
Morrisey set that up and too bad it is not 3 v3 ot in the playoffs.

I’m like stats watching now 😂

Helly come on
Don’t buckle now
12
games to go…

Maybe he plays 8 out of 12 right?
With that he won’t make most wins in a season.

But hopefully the under 2.00 and 0.930 are within reach.

I missed this one, but got the Paul Edmonds call on the radio, which a beauty. Points are points, after game 82 they don't count anymore. Rack em up.

If the top guns play safer down the stretch, it's not a big issue if they amp it up for the postseason. Jets can ill afford to lose skill forwards.

Looking forward to attending Sunday's game.
