took our foot off the gas in the 3rd and gave them so momentum but came out with the win, helle was off again he needs to pick it up, and by the standards they have set this year that should be 100% no goal, yes it was on the weaker side, but he went into the crease alone and before miller even touched him his skate made contact with helles stick which didn't allow him to cover the 5 hole... dallas only got 1 point so we end growing our lead even more

OT is all about possession and Nurse just dumping it behind our net led to the goal. If one of our D did that we would be ripping him right now.

On the SN broadcast they showed a replay (didn't explain it) but I saw Hellys mask strap come loose on the save he made just prior to the Jets taking possession.

Jets played flat all night, bottom six played stronger then the top six, even Helle wasn’t strong.

Good thing is Oilers sucked more, a bit weak depth & goaltending, especially goaltending. Who would thought you need good goalie in the NHL

I feel like in that case it should be the same principle as when the net is knocked off its moorings. Whistle it down if/when Oilers regain possession.

We got burned on similar play in OT vs. Ducks a few months ago.

2/5 Skeletons tonight, No Draisaitl and McDavid out for the third the Jets can't let this one go to OT. Anyways Joshua had a great game, top line MIA, KFC wins it small reprieve. Helle with some soft goals. Tanev as advertised. Schenn is not a top 4 d man. 4th line best line tonight and it wasn't close. 2 point is what counts and the Jets got them moving farther ahead of the Stars

Connor and Scheif played 24 minutes on 22 shifts. Getting back all the bad habits, cheating for offense, taking long shifts looking for just one more offensive sniff, never changing in the offensive zone. If they continue to play like that in the playoffs we won't go anywhere.
