it's weird to see a team #1 in the west this late into the season that have posters that have 95% of their posts being negative... something really doesn't add up, unless you set unrealistic expectations or just are happy when you are unhappy

Fell asleep in the third period and woke up when KFC scored the overtime winner. Jets seem to have trouble playing the Hackcoughs, but those two Ehlers goals were amazing! Glad that Hellebuyck is okay after that hit. I give this game three "Carnacs" out of five...

Exactly so. Ever roll a pair of dice and get doubles? Thats the best team losing at home to the worst team, because even the worst team has enough horses that they can score more goals in 60 minutes.

And honestly? I want our team to play like nothing is given. We can be up 2 goals with 2 minutes left, but we still have to execute.

Just like in chess, right? You can be up a rook or two pieces, but you still have to keep making good moves and smart moves; these days people don’t resign, they’ll make you checkmate ‘em.

55 made some bizarre plays... trying to be Gretzky or whatever, but not a terrible game from him overall. Imho.

lol I am fine. While I was not typing everytime I looked up Fefe was making bone headed passes and showed quite ineffective. It is what a saw.

Perfetti created a grade A scoring chance for Barron and won a solid board battle to get the puck to Vlad when he hit the post. Could have had a point or two easily. Just needs something to go for him. He has created a lot over the last number of games, enough to have at least 5 or more points. Once one goes for him I think the flood gates open.

The fourth line was solid all night and Vlad and Cole definitely have some chemistry.

Decent game overall, closer than what I would have liked but we controlled most of it.
Ehlers with a beauty rush and a seeing eye goal - nice to see him get it going.
Iafallo had a nice game and Names is driving that 4th line - looks like we have a solid bottom 6 as we near the deadline.
Top 6 still needs to work out a few kinks and I think they will - just leave the lines alone long enough for these guys to get something going.

Agree, and overall, the Jets had a multitude of opportunities to put this game away......perhaps that will be the next step.

I think Bones did it to take some pressure off him and give the lines a shake up. Easily could see him back in top 6 pretty soon if anyone struggles or if chemistry lacks. Villardi is great on the PP but hasn’t done much 5 on 5 for some time.

These tanking teams typically have a lot of young players that haven't earned contracts yet so they are playing their little hearts out. If talent doesn't work hard, hard work will win....

Lowry and his line were horrific and Ehlera did everything by himself. 9 was invisible as were 13, 22. 55 and 81 got caved in but KFC scores in OT so it’s all ok.

I don’t think KC had a bad game tbh. And I don’t think you watched Iafallo closely if you felt he was invisible. He drove a solid forecheck, strong on the boards and defensively broke up a blackhawks play almost every single shift he was on
