I wonder if the team's success in the regular season (especially the 7-0 shellacking) made the players and coaches feel like they didn't really have to work harder to win the series, and by the time they realized they were being outmatched it was too late?Any team the Jets face in the first round will be a tough out, the first round is always a crap shoot. Beating the Avs or any others teams during the regular season is nice but means nothing really in the post season.
I felt like last playoffs was a failure by not only the players, but the coaches. They had no answers and seemed to do nothing to try and change the tide. I'm hoping this new staff is more adaptable (I think they are) and the players finally get the sacrifice they are going to have to make if they want to have playoff success.
