No trust for MacLeod? Yeah. Holland is alleric to giving youth a chance to grow, he wants to press them back to the backseat. But the 4th line is unideal for MacLeod to grow into. I feel here is a rift between Holland and Tippet, they want diffrent ways to grew a team.
Holland want to pressback MacLeod. Well, AHL is certainly not the place to be for a rookie in his best age for growing into the NHL.
I want just a 3RW, rather a top 6. Yamamoto should not be locked in as a top6 RW right now.

Holland can throw away a 2nd and a 3rd this year (I hope he has learned from his disastrous 2 2nds for a borderline 3rd liner as AA)
for a top6 RW, and ilers will be fine.

if you want, throw in Lavoie and Safin, they seems not to be in OIlers future plans anyway.

Hyman McComplicated Defensive smart RW and OKish Offensivly. trade for it NOOOOOOW (not Evander Kane)
Foegele Draisaitl Pulju
MacLeod Nuge Yamamoto (I solved everything in one line. READ THIS TIPPET!!)
Benson/Sceviour Shore Kassian. Identitiy/mayhem/6 mina night line - whatever you want. They arent here for scoring a lot of goals.
I am liking the idea of McLeod on wing. Maybe he takes draws and then switches to wing as he is quite a bit better than RNH right now on the dot.

Yes! Done deal!

Now, how do we get in someone from hfboards in the coachroom, and fire Tippet?

Again not a huge deal, but I noticed Jesse is leading both corsi and fenwick stats of the team pretty comfortably.

I paid attention to his PP corsi being 9.2 while Hyman's (who plays the same role) is -7.9, the worst of the team. Maybe this is not just conincidence so maybe Jesse helps the team to control the puck on the PP more.

Pulju's PP GF/60 is also the 3rd best of the team (Nurse and quite interestingly Turris ahead).

Great game tonight. I really liked that he was shooting a lot, he was playing with a lot of confidence after those two early goals. He seemed comfortable holding on to the puck for longer periods of time as well. In fact, he looked pretty much like he did when he was playing in Finland.

That was probably the best I've seen JP play, he handled the puck clean all game. It bought him time, he made solid reads and completed accurate passes in crowds. There's no denying his talent or vision, he processes the game better than a lot of people gave him credit for but I think his puck skills probably lacked relative to his other skills. If JP can handle pucks without bobbling or fumbling he can be a elite player combined with his other skills.

That missed opportunity on the 2 on 1 though. I am not sure if I've seen him finish a pass from McDavid on 2 on 1 rush. Maybe he needs a bigger blade, like the one Drai plays with lol.

Good news for Jesse

The Oilers obviously did a good job at bringing him home earlier (according to the article). I have just a moment so here's a quick, rough translation of what Jesse said:

- Now I'm already back in Edmonton. I don't know exactly how the things went in the background, but Sunday night a car took me from hotel and took to the Seattle airport. Then I flew home in Edmonton by a private plane.

- I naturally couldn't book a normal flight. Now I'm in quarantine at home for 10 days. That time started from the moment I got a positive test result in the US.

- So the quarantine will be over 28th of December. Before that I won't be practising or playing with the team.

- I will take care of my body as well as possible at home. I'll watch the TV, play and rest. Mind needs to be kept fresh, it'll be fine.

- This annoys me. Of course there's been lots of question marks in the whole league lately. We'll see what happens.

- I haven't been selected yet. I can admit that this positive test result and these quarantine things at least didn't raise the excitment for the Olympics.

Apparently players called to Bob Nicholson pretty frequently, and said that "we have to get him home". What a difference from his first seasons, now he's clearly a big part of this team and i couldn't be happier for him. Also great job by Oilers organization.

Hyman fans won't admit it but his 200ft game leaves a lot to be desired, and ultimately why he was available. I like the player but we've paid considerably for a guy that can't even outscore while stapled to the best player in the world. I mean Hyman is running some poor numbers.

Pulju is a complete 200ft game. As relentless in own zone as anywhere on ice. Fewer bad things happen with Pulju on ice, and that making it even stranger how Hyman struggles with GA.

Pulju as I've stated for awhile is the third best forward on the club already, nobody even close. That will be a continuing state of affairs.

This is everything that Drai doesn't get with weaksauce Yama playing on his line.

Pulju also being smart out there. Creates the pick, and open ice without being called because he disguises it as working to get into the slot. But erases the defender in the process.

Size matters and having some hockey smarts matters. Pulju makes a lot of unsung plays like this that hardly get notice, but that are just sound hockey plays.

His o zone d zone start ratio is the best on the team and that obviously effects his numbers.

The dad named him after something he loves more then anything. The original meme has the kid named things like blow job etc…

Maybe I'm missing some new age lingo here as I often do as I'm meme compromised. heh, more confused now.

I'm not on twitter or up with memes so not aware of any original meme on that.

Only go to Twitter if you enjoy the dumbest posters from Calgarypuck being able to post anything without consequences.

That's a good point. But the difference in +- and corsi stats are too big for it to explain them, but it does help.

I hoped we could've seen Pulju on the PP a bit more before Hyman comes as he did pretty well in the first unit.

Looks like i'm not missing anything. I despise twitter, facebook, instagram. With twitter and gram seems like you have to be signed up to really follow the trains of thought, using the term loosely, very much.

cheers and thanks for trying to increase my comprehension. I'm quip joke challenged.
