A real jerk thing
Guilty on two counts of being Euro in a Sullivan zone
Sorry to be the annoying stat guy, but like I've written Puljujarvi's points/60 is the 3rd best of the team and more than twice as much as what e.g. Acciari, Poulin or DOC have. He is -2 (among the best of the team), while e.g. Acciari is -9 and DOC -14, so is he really the worst forward in the team?
They are acting like bureucrats, bigger salary means better player in their eyes.Sorry to be the annoying stat guy, but like I've written Puljujarvi's points/60 is the 3rd best of the team and more than twice as much as what e.g. Acciari, Poulin or DOC have. Why are you showing up to this disaster with a bag full of logic?Sorry to be the annoying stat guy, but like I've written Puljujarvi's points/60 is the 3rd best of the team and more than twice as much as what e.g. Acciari, Poulin or DOC have. I am no fan of hockey metrics at all (I think they're mostly snake oil and people are rubes for buying into the sabermetricization of hockey), but I find it hilarious that Dubas marketed himself as this big analytical guy, we revamped the analytics department twice in the last 5 or so years, and yet, we just keep a coach who ignores any sort of data behind the bench as some sort of living hockey god.Sorry to be the annoying stat guy, but like I've written Puljujarvi's points/60 is the 3rd best of the team and more than twice as much as what e.g. Acciari, Poulin or DOC have. Remember when HCEJ got hit during the 96 playoffs? I thought the old man died. Dude threw a band aid on it and was right back behind the bench.I have a better idea, please fire pucks into the bench at coach-height every shift. One of them is bound to fix the problem.
EJ was a tough old bat.Remember when HCEJ got hit during the 96 playoffs? I thought the old man died. Dude threw a band aid on it and was right back behind the bench.
Johnston remains the Penguins' all-time leader in coaching losses (224) and games coached (516).
I think hes got one more run as Coach or GM in him. Just do what the 80s/90s Pens did and plug him into any open hockey ops position.EJ was a tough old bat.
Wait, he's still alive?!?
I thought this was Mike Johnston and I was like how can that be?Lol , let's see if Mariachi Mike Sullivan can shatter another two team records:
lol in a MJ vs EJ death match, my money’s on Grandpa Munster.I thought this was Mike Johnston and I was like how can that be?
