Sorry to be the annoying stat guy, but like I've written Puljujarvi's points/60 is the 3rd best of the team and more than twice as much as what e.g. Acciari, Poulin or DOC have. He is -2 (among the best of the team), while e.g. Acciari is -9 and DOC -14, so is he really the worst forward in the team?

I don't think this team has scratched the worst forward (whoever that might be any given year) on the team for the last like six straight seasons so no... he's not.

They are acting like bureucrats, bigger salary means better player in their eyes.

Why are you showing up to this disaster with a bag full of logic?

Sullivan clearly has the super power of sensing who benefits from sitting out games and who does not. Thus there is no need for equality or fairness.

I am no fan of hockey metrics at all (I think they're mostly snake oil and people are rubes for buying into the sabermetricization of hockey), but I find it hilarious that Dubas marketed himself as this big analytical guy, we revamped the analytics department twice in the last 5 or so years, and yet, we just keep a coach who ignores any sort of data behind the bench as some sort of living hockey god.

Hard to believe he scored 36 points in 65 games at the age of 23, and yet is waived at the age of 26.

Something is going on there that we don’t know about bc this is right lol
