He is basically Drew O'Connor game wise, but has put up 10+ goals multiple times.
His last season was very disappointing, but in the prior seasons he scored 14 goals in 65 games and 15 goals in 55 games. I think that's pretty good for 15 minutes per game and not very much PP time.
I had huge expectations so it still wasn't quite there and I guess one needs to earn his time in top 6.
However, he scored goals quite nicely after his first hip operation in the season 2020-2021 when he scored ES goals at an even higher rate than Draisaitl while playing a big part of the season in bottom 6.
Of course someone always reads these in a wrong way so I emphasise the two players can't be compared in any possible way, that'd be just stupid, but it just shows that if he can play at that level also after this operation he could probably be a pretty productive NHL player.
The difference is last time he got to put himself in condition by playing in the FEL first so I don't know how fast he catches up now or if there even is a chance to do it in the NHL this year.
