I'm expecting PPG. This guy is supposed to be our Pettersson. He was a 3rd overall pick for a reason. Anyways, The AHL is comparable to Liiga and he was ppg down there so why not?

While I’d like to see PPG, he’s no Pettersson. Heck, I don’t even think he was ever “supposed” to be that. Of the centers in 2018, he was the best choice, but just because he went #3, doesn’t mean he’ll be that franchise center.

Sure, but things don't always translate like that. From my understanding Liiga is a pretty defense-first league, no? So it'll be harder to put up the exact same numbers as in some other league, even if the average skill level is around the same.

That said I'm also absolutely expecting him to dominate the ice as well. But I won't be staring at point totals. I'm sure he'll contribute on that front too.

Yeah, nowhere near in the conversation here. He isn't even in the playing line-up for Kärpät (even if they are a better team). We'll check up on that comparison in like, 2-3 years, m'kay?

Puljujärvi is probably more dangerous on offense, but I don't think it's too bold to assume KK is more useful to his team as a whole.

All Assat Pori games are listenable live on Radio Pori (radiopori.fi). In Finnish, though. No VPN needed. Next Assat game is on Thursday against Tappara and after that there is a game against rivalry Rauman Lukko on Saturday. Both games will start 1130 hrs Montreal time. I hope KK’s first game is one of these.
