I think their plan was for Swayman to cow to their wishes immediately
Or Swayman thinking the Bruins would just give him what he wants. He and his agent have pipe dreams if they think they are going to swindle the team now that Ullmark is gone.

I hope we hold the line and let him hold out until he agrees or trade him to the highest bidder.

NEVER over pay for a goalie never. Especially one that has not played number one goalie minutes.

No it's much better to overpay for bottom pairing D and13th Fs.

The bruins controlled his minutes. A month ago Swayman was the best goalie in hockey here

Bruins are well positioned for a deep run if # 1 stay healthy (particularly core) #2 their core players have above average seasons #3 if the young guys that were integrated last season continue to develop #4 one or two rookies ptown players PTO invitees make a impact and finally #5. The special teams need to be in top 10 both pk and PP. Alot to ask yes but a lot gotta go right to win a cup. Who's to say it can't happen here next season? Believe!

You think this thread is bad... EDM forum is worrying that they've haven't extended Draisaitl yet and he's under contract for 1 more year.

Or backup goalies like Korpisalo.

Draisaitl will be a joke and never respected if he stays as 2nd fiddle to McDavid. Noone will respect him for that and Edmonton sucks these guys can't leave their houses without getting bothered by the locals.

His deal will be so big that they are fine getting cap space for him. They can sign 2 good players and use some of that money for McDavids extension. And get 1 more crack with him.

Drai has already won a Hart Trophy. I'd say he gets plenty of respect.
