The bruins controlled his minutes. A month ago Swayman was the best goalie in hockey here

It's all media and negotiation tactics, every year we hear this same thing no matter what team is involved and they always end up signed at a decent contract. Swayman is happy in Boston and Boston believes he is their guy, his agent is doing what he's paid to do as is Sweeney and co.

Bruins are well positioned for a deep run if # 1 stay healthy (particularly core) #2 their core players have above average seasons #3 if the young guys that were integrated last season continue to develop #4 one or two rookies ptown players PTO invitees make a impact and finally #5. The special teams need to be in top 10 both pk and PP. Alot to ask yes but a lot gotta go right to win a cup. Who's to say it can't happen here next season? Believe!

Draisaitl will be a joke and never respected if he stays as 2nd fiddle to McDavid. Noone will respect him for that and Edmonton sucks these guys can't leave their houses without getting bothered by the locals.

His deal will be so big that they are fine getting cap space for him. They can sign 2 good players and use some of that money for McDavids extension. And get 1 more crack with him.
