I would have loved to see the look on Lombardi's face when he found out.

Ive never seen a security dog either. Just heavy security. Although with how godawful spring break parties got out of control this year.

Maybe Vegas really stepped up security at the MGM.

He's looking a bit younger there, definitely a few more lines added this year.

I mean lines on his face :)

Even being lit up doesn't excuse bringing that much to a party unless it was for sale or to give to friends. I don't see how anyone could be that lit up or dumb to just have it sitting in their pocket knowing a search is being done.

Bizarre if you ask me, Stoll never seemed like the type of guy to do something like this.

You don't have to be dressed like Hunter S Thompson to get high.

There are many successful people (including lawyers, athletes, and everyone else) that use drugs. The numbers world surprise the vast majority of you.

I suppose, pretty dim then.

When having a "good time" it's easy to forget things due to possibly being inebriated and focused on other things at the party.

Oh yeah.... DO NOT CONSENT TO A SEARCH IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING ON YOUR BODY THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT WOULD FROWN UPON!

Example...
Question: "Can I search you?"...
Answer: "NO"

Or just leave, it was security, not police wasn't it, or is that the same thing in the US?

Not really talking about the use of drugs. I am talking about being so dumb.

Stoll never struck me as this stupid.

How would he acquire these inside if he never made it in? Come on.

Maybe he was intoxicated already? How can someone be that ******* stupid? He's been there before; he knows procedure. Leave it to Stoll though, gonna take one final penalty at the end of the season. Fitting.

:handclap:well done:handclap:

Access denied.

Yeah, really can't argue with you on that one.

Like has been said, I think there are crucial details to this story that are not being reported.

I would hope there is more to the story, I agree. Cause what Stoll did is akin too:

Passing a CHP officer doing a 100MPH in a 65MPH zone thinking to yourself "Ehh he will let me go this time around".

If he even began to stand in a line, it wasn't too smart. Maybe he thought they were only checking purses and bags? A lot does not make any sense at all.

I've never seen dogs and I've been to that pool. I haven't been to the Wet republic so I guess they have more security there? The MGM pool which you have to go through to get to Wet Republic has a couple of people standing at the front making sure you don't bring glass or coolers into the pool area. I've never seen anyone get pat down. But that is probably because I've never been to the wet republic, just the MGM pool.

What's surprising to me is that the security guard didn't just confiscate the drugs and let him go about his business. In my experience the guy doing the pat down is just as likely to be a loadie as the guy trying to get in.

I'm starting to think Stoll pissed someone off.

Yea most security I've dealt with would have taken it and sold it at the party. Maybe he is a Ducks fan...

The whole thing is such a bummer. Embarrassing for everyone.

It's funny how these things happen in the off-season. Mark Hardy was arrested in May of 2010 for sexual abuse when he was still an assistant coach with the Kings.

Drew Doughty was accused of sexual assault in June of 2012, after they had won the Cup. And now this on top of Voynov's domestic battery arrest in October.

Dean Lombardi might have to hire a new defense team of attorneys.

Here's what I wonder about all this. If you are going to a swimming pool, why are you taking water soluble drugs with you? I realize they were in baggies, but still seems like an odd thing to take to the pool with you.

I can maybe understand doing some before you go, but taking it into the pool?
