Come on, really ?

I was sitting at a Tiki bar yesterday with Joe drinking rum runners and not sure if he was drunk or not ;) but he is telling me what a great guy Lonnie is, loves the back and forth, and he considers you a good friend. So disappointing.

I don't miss his inconsistency, but it's obvious that the team misses his speed right now. The Bruins are slow up front and Jake was their fastest forward. Perhaps we underrated how his ability to win races or forecheck on dump ins opened up possession and scoring opportunities.

Elias Lindholm is certainly a better all around hockey player, but for the system we're currently playing JDB might've been a better fit than 28 is.

Jake isn't a center so it's hard to say he's a better fit than Lindholm.

Debrusk currently with more goals than all but 3 Bruins have points. More goals and points than Geekie and Frederic combined despite a bunch of folks here saying those guys could replace his offence no problem.
Good to see him find his game and to see what he can do when he's not sulking. Funny those three had just about identical production through last season.

Well, he doesn't have any points for the Bruins.

And it's not likely Jake would have close to those numbers if he were still a Bruin.

And our experience with him is that we had a Jake that was "on pace for" X number of goals at various points, but never got there because the cold streak was coming sooner or later. Maybe he is a different player this season, but I'd be surprised if he finished with more than 40 goals and won't be surprised if he doesn't crack 30. But, you never know.

Let's hope that doesn't happen.
Seems like Pasta has adopted his inconsistency and Swayman has taken his me first attitude. The team misses his speed, he was good on the speciality teams too. That lack of scoring is almost laughable now. People can say he didnt want t be here but the guys here now are not showing that.
