I was sitting at a Tiki bar yesterday with Joe drinking rum runners and not sure if he was drunk or not but he is telling me what a great guy Lonnie is, loves the back and forth, and he considers you a good friend. So disappointing.

I don't miss his inconsistency, but it's obvious that the team misses his speed right now. The Bruins are slow up front and Jake was their fastest forward. Perhaps we underrated how his ability to win races or forecheck on dump ins opened up possession and scoring opportunities.

Elias Lindholm is certainly a better all around hockey player, but for the system we're currently playing JDB might've been a better fit than 28 is.

Jake isn't a center so it's hard to say he's a better fit than Lindholm.
