The tinfoil must be running low in your home.

The worst elbow since the salary cap era? Just go for the gusto and say since you saw the Montreal Maroons play.

If you are going to clutch pearls, go for the biggest ones.
The reading comprehension must be low in yours.

I never said worst elbow, I can think of many with more violent results, if that’s what you mean by “worst”. Remember those are your words, not mine.

I said deliberate elbow attempts. Yes I’ve never seen so many lunges at elbows like this. Go so far outside your body position to try to land an elbow. There’s a difference.

I don’t disagree and have said such, Trouba is a scumbag on the ice. This string of responses started with a poster posting in this thread that the NHL was rigging the game for the Rangers.
Yea ridiculous "it was a rigged ........( fill in the blank)

Now where have I heard that before when ya don't win something??

Yes, this will surely stop him from doing it again.
Trouba should just write a check for $ 55,000. Covering this one and his next ten sucker shots.

He keeps trying to elbow people in the head, but keeps just missing.

I think he needs to recalibrate his elbow targeting system, Maybe it's not factoring in the fact that the players have good reflexes and move their heads away.

He'll connect one of these days, same fans will defend it even then though.

Vicious glancing blow off Rodriguez back after which he didn’t miss a single shift

Trouba being suspended would have been more of a punishment to the Panthers. He's been a disaster.

What the hell is even the point of player safety if a blatant chicken wing elbow to the head isn't a suspension?

Honestly might as well shut it down and just let players do whatever they want.

Look at the picture two posts above yours and tell me it's an elbow to the head.

I'm still disappointed he's not suspended, but maybe let's try be realistic too?

To provide just enough of a veneer of caring about player safety to fend off future lawsuits whilst protecting the interests of the moneyed powers that be amongst the league owners. That was obvious when they yanked on Shanahan’s choke chain years ago when he actually tried to run DOPS in a fashion that actually deterred this kind of shitty player.

I don't know what's more pathetic - the hit or the people justifying with some random whataboutism. Yeah, the DoPS sucks in general, doesn't mean you have to find excuses every time some player on your team blatantly attempts to injure.

Show the picture from the other side thst actually shows his elbow going over the numbers on the top of his shoulder into his neck. You can’t even see the elbow in that photo.

Oh, you mean the angle that doesn't show the primary contact? Ok then chief 👍

Probably should have been a game for dangerous play whether he made full contact or not.

There is zero question about his intent. WHether Erod got right up or laid on the ice, it doesn't change the INTENTIONAL extended elbow. That alone is enough to warrant a game. That's his warning. The next one will be min of a game or 2.

The next CBA really needs to allow higher fines. Fining players $5000 is almost more insulting to fans' intelligence than fining them nothing.
