In his last 16 games where he’s gotten a point in every game for over a month. (15 goals, 14 assists, his plus minus in those 16 games has got to be near plus 20 now) and most of those 15 goals in 16 games, are even strength ...It’s just awesome seeing that teams have the game plan that he’s THE One guy you shut down. Then goes out
there and does it again each night. Nuts...even I didnt see him doing THIS well. Glad to see the team slowly getting better too because of it, haven’t lost by more then a goal in the last few weeks (10 or 11 games) 5-1-4 in last ten. Ullmark has really been estblashing himself like a number one this year I’ve felt. Him oloffson and Eichel Are by far the three best sabres this year and look at how much more amazing that makes jack look when almost halfway through a season the next best two players are a 7th rd draft pick rookie and Linus ullmark who probably didn’t make top 40 goalie lists.

Longest point streak by any player so far this season. 2 games away from tying the Sabres franchise point streak record, set by Gilbert Perreault in the early '70s.

It’s not a big deal but I really am not sure if that’s correct, ...I mean I’m guessing you read this somewhere but if it is Tim Connolly has to be tied no? I thought for sure Connolly had a 19 game point streak? Maybe it was seventeen or 18 games, only reason I remember this is because I went to the the game he extended it to that in January 2010 in Vancouver. Still Connolly had hands and I loved Lafontaine growing up but when it’s all said and done Eichel could be number one or two in best sabres forwards ever with Gilby P.

Connolly had a 16-game point streak in 2009-10. Perreault's 18 in 1971-72 still hasn't been bested by anyone.

Ah, that explains it...I literally mixed up/flipped the 6 and the 9. A little dyslexic haha, ....I was at te 16th game I believe where he extended it. A 3-2 overtime loss I believe to Van in Van in 2010.

I remember two Canuck fans bashing Miller behind me, (Miller proceeds to win Olympic MVP and take USA to the gold medal finals in that very building literally three weeks later) while winning the vezina four months later. Good times. Ps- I’m sure those same fans didn’t mind when Ryan helped drag the Canucks into the 2015 playoffs but anyway...

Dahlin is at his best when he is controlling the play with the puck on his stick. Same as Eichel. Would be best if they are not on the ice at the same time except on the PP
Dahlin is more of an incredible puck mover than an individual playmaker imo he can setup Eichel/Olofsson better than anyone else on the team. Though i'm sure once he's aged he'll be able to do more by himself for scoring.

Whenever Eichel touches the puck it seems he can score. The only thing is that the last few years he has had a bad tendency in 3 vs 3 OTs to make bad plays that result in direct odd man rushes and losses.

God if Cozens pans out and we can throw out another top 6, 60+ point center the forwards will be nasty.

Considering we have Eichel out there in OT for his 2nd shift so early after using him in the last 2 mins in regulation its awfully similar to the Columbus game where a player is going to get worn down if you use him too much as we saw before the pass even happened when he could hardly move to defend in the zone earlier.

Some of Eichels faults in the past have almost completely disappeared this year. He’s found out how to be engaged in the defensive zone and his a puck hound in the offensive zone. Jack is doing absolutely everything you want from your 1c — including the leadership.

Having a true threat in Olofsson opens up Ice for Eichel too — as seen on that goofy STL goal. Teams are terrified of that killer Eichel > Olofsson one timer coupled with his tenaciousness on the puck that he’s creating all of these opportunities. This is not a fluky streak, Eichel is absolutely dominating every single game over the last 45 days.
