Two parts to this. One, "cancel culture" is a dog whistle term, and using it only strengthens bigots. So, while I agree about the term, I absolutely disagree that Jack is bad at his job. He's an incredibly talented broadcaster. He's always prepared, adds a personality to the role, and his job is to describe the play for a Bruins fan's perspective.
So yea, everyone saying "cancel culture" is just telling the rest of us that they're a joke. Jack is good, though.
I think good at his job is subjective. The guy knows hockey, but stating things like, "Oshie better be out for the rest of the game" is detrimental to the broadcast. It paints a picture that injuries only matter if they are serious enough that player can no longer play, and that the marginal opportunity the Bruins had is more important than the player bleeding on the ice.
There are a lot of people who know hockey who could fill his job without being an asshole.
