I like Jack Edwards, it's amusing how many jimmies he rustles.

He does have a point in this instance. It's at the discretion of the referee, but they usually will wait until the injured player's team recovers possession before blowing a play dead like that. That said, kind of hard to complain when the refs missed a blatant 4 min high sticking penalty...

Brickley is one of the best color commentators working right now. He really adds a lot of insight. Now if only Jack Edwards' histrionics didn't spill over into the time between plays so much, Brickley would have more time to talk.

Actually, it was the Boston Tea Party. Still stupid, and Edward's an ass. Then again, at least the Bruins themselves don't compare hockey to war by inscribing a famous WWI poem on the wall of the locker room, or reenact that poem with a cheesy light show before playoff games.

He sounds just like me if I were doing a game. He's entertaining but the most unprofessional announcer I've ever heard. He's a lot more entertaining than the Rangers' Sam Rosen but at least I don't have to be embarrassed by the Rangers play by play guy.
