Major piece of shit, even his "fight" the other day lol, skates way from Holl, when Holl turns his back to pick his gloves up after the referee calls the fight off, he comes back in. Complete chicken shit lmao fakest tough guy in the league.

Every time he was near Muzzin: crosscheck, punch to the face, crosscheck, punch the mask again, crosscheck...

I mean at some point he should think about playing the puck instead of his puck flip revenge.

Total dickhead.

That’s what makes him effective.

who do I disagree with?

not hoping for it, I just know it will happen eventually the second he has a bad game or 2 (like every goalie has).

Anderson has had more bad games than good ones. Is Jack going to let in a softy? Or have a bad game? Ya. Will a couple fans post “ouuu freddy’s better” yes.

I still think Jack is our goalie. I’ve been very supportive of Keefe but if he rides Anderson than I will be at the front of the line criticizing. Jack makes the one or two saves we need, and the team is confident in him and want him in there.

How many posts did we hit in this game 6-7? Crazy amount anyway. Matthews had 2 wide open chances off the post. Those usually go in for him.

- Good composed rebound.
- Some sloppiness at times
- Great goaltending
- Finish has been lacking, I don't care about how many goals they have scored over the last 7 or 8 games they should have had more with all the chances.
- Definitely expect more points and more realistic goal tending.

Work on some individual games but all in all, if they play like that everyday, they win a bunch more than they lose.

sure, it might make things easier if the PP is clicking and the Leafs are giving Andersen 5 or 6 goals in support every game. But the Leafs not doing that isn't a failure on their end, and it shouldn't be something they need to do to win in front of Andersen. Campbell just won in regulation with 2 goals in support and none from the PP, so it's obviously something that can be done

It's just as valid to say that earlier in the year we were winning game after game without Andersen having to play great so to use your own words - it's obviously something that can be done. And part of the reason we were able to do it is that our PP was a lot better then the ~5% we've been at during this slump.

Andersen deserves plenty of criticism for his play as of late. Not sure why some people want to pretend that there's nothing else that's less than perfect lately.

I really believe they are veiled shots at posters who had differing opinions. Usually there are few "Where are they now", posts as well

Yeah there were a few of those posts as well. Tiresome nonsense.

At some point the refs have to think hey that guy has a broken bone in his face, that guy punching him is intentionally trying to hurt them.

another 4 day break and the schedule after that is brutal. I hope Matthews' wrist heals in time also hope Freddy's groin issues are dealth with and Campbell gets closer to 100%

Keefe needs to just tell Matthews to stay home and heal up no practices. And take his video games away from him so he doesn't mess his wrist punching keys on the controller lol

I will posit that Matthews, hand, is still not 100%. So anyone seeing weakness in his game, sure, he is playing in a diminished state.

He is still Auston Matthews though. He also took some serious jolts in this series. Remember, this kid has had both shoulders separated. Frankly, I am surprised he has come back to play this well after that.

He obviously has world class conditioning and rehab at his disposal, and employs it.

The combination of Andersen constantly undermining his teammates and playing like shite obviously has an effect on his teammates trust and opinion of him.

Seeing that Matthews and Marner took Campbell aside after the game, and that Campbell didn't want to divulge what was said, probably has Andersen squirming.

Jack Campbell has won over this board it seems, but more importantly, he has won over his teammates.

My hopes are I don't have to watch a post game Andersen interview for a while.

Some people get clearly carried away and certainly not every goal is Andersen's fault, but I don't think it's unfair at all to say that Andersen has been below average more often than not the last year or so. Whether it's simply injuries or decline in his game is something the Leafs need to figure out in a hurry and make moves accordingly. This team and opportunity is too good to let it go wasted

When Mathews was on the bench we saw him punch his stick or the boards. My first thought was I hope that wasn't the sore hand Matty. I think it was.

Keefe needs to move towards a 1A/1B situation by splitting the rest of the games evenly between the two goalies. Start with Campbell the next game.

Thu, Mar 25 @ Ottawa - Campbell
Sat, Mar 27 vs Edmonton - Andersen
Mon, Mar 29 vs Edmonton - Campbell
Wed, Mar 31 @ Winnipeg - Andersen
Fri, Apr 2 @ Winnipeg - Campbell
Sun, Apr 4 @ Calgary - Andersen
Mon, Apr 5 @ Calgary - Campbell
Wed, Apr 7 vs Montreal - Andersen
Sat, Apr 10 vs Ottawa - Campbell

Trade for a #3G and keep him on the roster.

I disagree with that. Go with the hot hand. Splitting games like that down the middle doesn't let anyone get into a groove.

Give people some credit. No one is going to call for anyone's head if they have the odd bad game. That is completely understandable.

The situation with Freddy is a completely different story, one of inconsistency that has been ongoing for years. The difference this season is that he has been consistently unreliable. How many solid games has he played for us this season? I can count them on one hand.

He’s saving them for the games against the Oilers and Jets.

With the way the Leafs play + solid goaltending, they got a good chance to go 3-1 or sweep them.

I agree with 1a and 1b 100%

Though I would not split like that.

Ride the hot goalie 70-80 percent. If they are comparable, I would do 1 or 2 mini series each.
